We had a most awesome time at the Old Crocker Inn for our 30th wedding anniversary. Charles Crocker is well known in the railroad history of California and his hunting lodge is a well kept secret for many but we do understand why he chose this spot - deer roam in abundance, as do fox, etc. We stayed in the... Spent one night at the Old Crocker Inn - would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately they were fully booked. The grounds are lovely, beautifully maintained and very peaceful. We were very happy with our room - tastefully decorated and full of character. The bed was very comfortable, if not huge, but the highlight was the sheets - probably... More

Thank you for your wonderful description of our service. We work very hard to provide reliability, a great product and friendly service. To us it is the very least we can do for each and every one of our precious customers. Thanks again and come back soon. You will be pleased to learn that the pool is getting re-surfaced this... My getaway for my wife's birthday was blessed with this hidden, rustic gem of an inn. Marcia was a wonderful host and the inn and grounds were a charming step away from life's hustle. A small wedding was coming together on our second day with family and friends scurrying about to make it a great success. We stayed in the... More

I have enjoyed reading the many positive comments about OCI's views, sheets, breakfasts, wildlife, or cleanliness; to which I can add little from my brief visit. But, nothing is more important than good people...a theme repeated again and again in rave reviews crediting Marcia and Tony. If you can find other venues with this level of personal dedication by the... More

My husband and I stayed one night at Old Crocker Inn while we were traveling through the Sonoma Wine Country on our way to Napa. The road leading to it was a little adventurous. OCI is out in the country which makes it a perfect getaway. There were deer scampering about as we drove up to the Inn. The room... More

We found this gem last year as a Groupon....we came back this year because it is a perfect way to start a vacation in Northern Sonoma Country. We brought our daughter for her birthday and she loved it also. Her comment "the bed was like sleeping on a pillow". Our daughter has a gluten allergy and Tony and Maria's creative... More

My husband & I flew into San Francisco & are driving to Seattle hitting some National Parks along the way. We were tired & couldn't make it to our 1st scheduled stop. We googled hotels & Old Crocker Inn came up. The price was reasonable so we booked it online. The road up to it makes you wonder what you... More

Stayed in Old Crocker Inn for our one week wine trip in Sonoma and Napa Valley. It feels like sweet home. The lovely Inn keepers, Tony and Marcia, make sure everything works well. The bed are big and very comfortable. And the breakfast is very thoughtfully put together and so yummy. A great place for get-away.

Our third trip to this hard-to-find but easy to love inn. If you're up early, the wildlife viewing is unbelievable. Deer, turkeys, quail, fox and assorted songbirds add to the ambiance. Beds are more than comfortable (the sheets are super cozy) and the breakfasts... my, oh, my! I can't describe how perfect it is to start a wine- tasting day... More

Peaceful, remote, splendid isolation. Excellent grounds and setting, and it would be a great place for families with kids, family reunions, etc. However, it's an older property that needs a lot of attention. Some of the usual upscale amenities have been added (wifi, luxury bath robes, quality shampoo etc) but feel superficial. Potted plants on the large porch are scruffy... More

Thank you for your constructive review. As you noted this is a small rural bed and breakfast surrounded by forests and vegetation. It is a constant process maintenance but occasionally certain items need attention. We make every effort to provide the best quality amenities and robes that are expected by our guests. Breakfasts in all small b&bs have limited menus... More
