Just off hwy 5 if you're heading across the border, this motel is basic but good enough if you're planning to stay one or two nights. Clean with basic amenities a good deal when others are booked up in San Diego.

it is a little bit far from the main beaches but still a good place. The parking lots are good and safe. The wifi is not free, you need pay for and do not have breakfast, bt the prices and how the rooms are clean are a positive point.

We were visiting San Diego however could not afford the prices in the Gaslamp so we choose to stay a little farther away. We choose this place because it was right by the trolley line so we didn't have to drive everywhere. It's a short walk. But it's also right off the highway so it's easy to get to when... More

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this location in a couple years. The beds are rather small, but other than that is is what you expect from a motel room, remember it's not a HOTEL....Im not very familiar with the area, but it seems to be well kept and in a area not of question...Parking was not... I have stayed here three times. It is quiet, rooms are clean and most of all there is no hotel with such a great value. It is a no frills hotel but your bang for your buck is definitely there. They have added lots more security since my last stay. It is 10 minutes to the city center and is... More

I reserve a non smoking room and they give me a smoking room, it was roach infested, the wi fi was 5 or 6 dollars a day, no coffee maker, no iron, only 5 or 6 channels, old tv, old air conditioning system (window ones)

Our room wasn't cleaned one day of two so not great odds. Beds not the best but not the worst :). Fridge and micro was nice. Pool was nice. Easy on and off the freeway. Able to get our two rooms right next to each other. Has two parking lots. Including Breakfast would have been nice but Denny's was close.

Great location for the purpose of our trip. Room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. No microwave, no hair dryer, and no iron was unpleasant. It was a great value though and was overall a good experience. Would stay there again.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, and so affordable! How could I ask for more? It was also very quiet and we slept really well. It was good enough for our purposes, which were to spend the day out and about and have a place to just shower and sleep. I would stay here again!
