Loved the facilities at this place- shower was good- although a little small. There was a nice swimming pool area too and definitely very family friendly with the kids splashing about in it. The grounds were very well looked after too. We pitched tents up and the 2 plots we were given didn't have any shade so if booking- I... More

This family-friendly campground is convenient to freeways and within 20 minutes of major attractions. The park has a comfortable feeling that helps to relax you right away, and with full hookups most of your luxuries are near at hand. Generous pull-through sites for large rigs, as well as back-ins for Class C motorhomes and trailers provide choice and convenience for... More

Nice campground. Lots of amenities. Great family atmosphere. Nice dog park. Very crowded. Very metro style, manicured hedges and lawns, paved streets, lots of cement. Not necessarily for the nature lover. Clean showers and restrooms. Nice pool area. Relaxed atmosphere.

I enjoy coming to KOA often with my family and even just for a nice weekend adult get away. I'd rather spend the money and stay at the KOA than a hotel. Much more fun and offers more than what hotels can.

Not a lot for the kids. Small very shallow (shallow 3.5 to 4 foot "deep" middle) and cold pool in August. Every thing except the bouncing pillows and playground was at additional cost, kind of al-cart. If without kids would be fine, with the kids we'll be going back to Campland on the Bay they keep the kids busy all... More

We stayed in our own tents and had to borrow a hammer to get the pegs in which worked fine. Yes there are ants but they didn't bother us as much as the thousands of crows which woke us every morning at 5.30 and then used our pitch as their restroom. Luckily we put a canopy over our table and... More

We stayed at this beautiful location at the end of July 2014. It was our family trip and we wanted something different than the hotel scene this year. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins; not a lot of space. I did a lot of research and the one thing I missed was the loft size. It advertises that... More

Loud-Quiet hours did not exist. People in camping site next to us came in and started setting up their tent at 1030pm and then partied. Kids played hide and go seek around campsites until 1 in the morning. Music was played and loud conversations were had until 2 am. Nobody was going around to monitor this. Also, I swear every... We spent three nights camping at the San Diego Metro KOA in a tent in July. While it was pricier than other campgrounds on our summer camping trip, it had enough enhancements to justify the cost. First, it's a great location. The staff are plentiful and attentive. They are constantly cleaning, checking bathrooms, picking up litter, serving customers, gardening, etc.... More
