Very nice campground. Prices are rather high, as usual for a KOA, but the service is excellent and the stalls are very nice. There were a lot of birds, particularly ravens. You might listen to some crowing.

We keep coming back here because it is an affordable way to visit San Diego with the family. The grounds are well landscaped and provide an oasis in the surrounding suburban environment. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They also allow dogs and we brought three of them. There are plenty of activities to keep people of all ages amused,... More

We were in one of the premium RV spots and were very happy with the facilities provided. The service throughout was unfailingly helpful especially when we had a problem with our hose, and the store was well stocked. You do need to be careful when driving round this very busy site as there are hordes of children at play. We... More

We recently stayed at this park and it is one of nicest KOA we have stayed in. The park setting is "park like" with lots of trees and grass. We did not see one ant and we stayed here for four nights. The park is located beside two highways however, the noise is minimal to none. We did hear some... More

Yes you may have ants in your pants after visiting this KOA. Beautifully situated in the city of Chula Vista close to shopping, and bicycle paths, and to major freeways to get you around the San Diego area quickly, this is a great place to be. Unfortunately sugar ants like it too. Campers are warned to take precautions to keep... More

Thank you for your review, and thank you for your comments. Ants are indeed one of our major sources of frustration as well. Try as we might, there is a limit to what types of pesticides we are comfortable with using so as not to be a danger to our guests or their pets. We will continue to do all... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2013 and the purpose of our stay was to visit San Diego tourist spots. The campground was very clean and quiet, with a pull through spot plenty big enough for our 35 foot unit and car. Can't comment on the washrooms as we never used them. The office staff were extremely helpful... More

We've stayed in one of the cabins before and thought it was just okay. It was also dusty. Decided to give them another chance and called for prices on cabins. YIKES! Not affordable. Ridiculous prices. Not to mention there's minimum number of days you have to stay. I found a nice hotel for 7.00 more per night. So very disappointed... More

After three changes to our arrival date we made it on October 4th. Flawless arrival and check-in. Arrived at our space which was beautiful location. But we are unsure navigators of our trailer. We asked if another space was possible and we were offered a new location cheerfully. Ramon was very kind to give us a DIY trailor manuvering lesson.... More

Second time at this KOA, and it's one of the nicer KOA's we have visited. Perfect for kids, there are few I've visited that are better. I have stayed with my wife on one occasion, and then a second time in August 2013 with my parents and wife in the luxury cabins. The luxury cabin was very impressive, and if... More

We stay at dozens of KOAs on extended road trips with our 3 and 6 year olds. This KOA is by far one of the best in the KOA system, proving why it is a past KOA of the Year winner! From friendly staff, to nice sites, a great location and fantastic facilities, this KOA has it all! Easy access... More
