My husband and I decided to get married in Chico and this was the one place in all of Chico that felt up to the task for accommodations for us and our guests who wanted to stay the night too. IT WAS AMAZING! The building and rooms were beautiful, the Diamond Suite was pre-honeymoon perfect, and the most amazing part... More

All the other higher end hotels in the area are fine, the same as anywhere else except in Chico all are poorly located far from downtown. Diamond is right in the heart of old Chico, it is in one of the oldest large historic buildings in the area and has managed to maintain much of that historic atmosphere and fascination... More

Hotel Diamond was recommended to me by a Chico businessman. I was so delighted by this smallish, classic hotel. Hotel Diamond got all the basics right: free wifi, clean room, friendly staff, free parking, free breakfast, new bed, flat screen, attractive place in a good location. It turns out that the "220" restaurant/ bar downstairs really is one of the... More

It's a lovely, quiet, historic hotel. Service is great, and it's located right down town. The hotel restaurant is wonderful and so convenient! There are choices in rooms from 'regular' to suites. We have stayed in all depending on how much computer work I need to do while there.

We spent 1 night at Hotel Diamond, and it was on spot for those who appreciate old hotels. This hotel was recently refurbished with good lay out and large sized rooms. The overall decor of the hotel is really nice, and love the wood inlaid floor on the elevator. The king size bed was very comfortable with pillowtop covering. Being... More

A historic hotel in the heart of Chico. This hotel is a little gem, featuring very poshly renovated rooms, which nonetheless keep the original flavor of old times. The hotel hosts a very nice bar, hopping with a local scene of business people who come for happy hour. The restaurant is very decent for Chico standards. The best feature of... More

Very nice service as well as clean and well upfitted rooms. Staff was helpful, left some local gifts for me as well. As a Chico resident, I normally don't get a chance to stay at any of our hotels, but was happy to stay the night here on the evening of my birthday. Best hotel in all of chico.

We spent one night at the Hotel Diamond in Downtown Chico and had a wonderful stay. Our room had a king bed, hdtv, and a nice size bathroom. The room was very clean, well decorated, and perfect for our stay. We were in town to go to a company party also being held downtown. The entire downtown area is only... More

Very beautiful renovated historic hotel.. Room was very clean, nicely appointed and very peaceful colors and style. Room maybe a tad small but spacious bath made up for that. Night stand had earplugs in case street noise was too loud, but we did not experience that at all. Very quiet and peaceful. Bed was comfy and cozy. Restaurant downstairs was... More
