.if you plan a visit to Lassen Volcanc National Park, you could do a lot worse than staying in Chester which is approx 20 miles from the park entrance. The town itself is not up to much but this hotel is clean, the rooms are pleasant, and the hotel is convenient to nearby restaurants, a shopping center and other retail... More

Stayed here in October whilst visiting Lassen Volcanic Park. Great place to stay with friendly helpful staff. Supermarket close by and good breakfast diner across the Street. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks

Good stay at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. They warned us more than once that the town shuts down "early" (9 pm) so we could get dinner while we had the chance. Room was comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. We were on the first floor and I heard a lot of noise above us... More

We stayed one night here before heading up to Lassen volcanic park. The room we got (which was the last available) was spacious, clean, large and well set up. We found the room quiet and comfortable and didn't hear any other guests. There is a couple of places to eat across the road in walking distance and a grocery right... More

The rooms are large and clean, but unfortunately, quite noisy. It seemed as though other guests either next door or above us were moving furniture all night. We could even hear conversations. There is a coffee pot, HD TV, (good luck figuring out the remote) and the AC worked well. The Internet was intermittent, at best. Location is great. It... More

We were on our way to somewhere else and that route took us through Chester. That's why we chose a motel there. This town looks like it was at its best in the 50's. If you have to stay there are really only two good choices. One is a Best Western and the other Antlers. Antlers was considerably less than... More

This motel is right on the main street and not far from the lake. It has a very rustic appearance and is truly a little gem. The rooms are spacious and very nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Over the road is a small restaurant that serves a good breakfast and dinner, The price is amazingly low. The... More

After a long drive this is a gem in this quiet corner of CA...Chester is a sweet town and Antlers Motel a most welcome stop on our way into the wilderness areas in north eastern CA, including Lassen Volcanic National Park. Antlers owners super accommodating, rooms very well appointed. Family owned and run, they are excited to offer a clean... More

We chose this place so we could easily access Lassen Natl Park. The rooms are large and comfy, with lots of outlets easily accessible to plug in electronics. Front staff was great. Towels were fluffy. It was all good!

What a nice surprise the Antlers Motel was. I wasn't quite sure what we would find in a town that I hadn't heard of. Checking in was a pleasure and the lady was so nice. The room was clean and comfortable. (Carpet needs to be clean though.) Plenty of towels and what ever we asked for. They do have hair... More
