This motel is right on the main street and not far from the lake. It has a very rustic appearance and is truly a little gem. The rooms are spacious and very nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Over the road is a small restaurant that serves a good breakfast and dinner, The price is amazingly low. The... More

After a long drive this is a gem in this quiet corner of CA...Chester is a sweet town and Antlers Motel a most welcome stop on our way into the wilderness areas in north eastern CA, including Lassen Volcanic National Park. Antlers owners super accommodating, rooms very well appointed. Family owned and run, they are excited to offer a clean... More

We chose this place so we could easily access Lassen Natl Park. The rooms are large and comfy, with lots of outlets easily accessible to plug in electronics. Front staff was great. Towels were fluffy. It was all good!

What a nice surprise the Antlers Motel was. I wasn't quite sure what we would find in a town that I hadn't heard of. Checking in was a pleasure and the lady was so nice. The room was clean and comfortable. (Carpet needs to be clean though.) Plenty of towels and what ever we asked for. They do have hair... More

We were very happy with our stay at Antlers Motel. We stayed two nights while visiting the Lassen Park. While this isn't the closest town to Lassen, it is certainly not a far drive and this whole town in general is cute as can be. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time. They were not able to check us... More

Perfect little quiet getaway. Quiet A/C. Comfy beds. Small place so didn't expect all the amenities. Dan, the owner, was entertaining and engaging. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Would recommend to anyone passing through Chester.

We were wandering in California on our way to Lassen Volcanic National Park. Of course, inside the park accommodations were impossible to find on short notice, so we were directed to Chester, a town reasonably close (American perspective!) to the park. After seeing a couple of disappointing choices, we pulled in the Antlers not expecting much. After meeting Dan, the... More

Room are cute, the staff friendly and the town quaint! I love Chester and the Antlers Motel is worth every penny. The place is somewhat new and it looks just like the photos show. The bed was comfy and the room very clean. The place doesn't do breakfast, but there are eateries within a block or two as well as... More

Antlers is a very clean, basic motel. Decor is cute but not too many amenities (bring your own hair dryer, shampoo, etc.). But there is a good coffee pot (though no decaf is provided.). Quiet location, across street from a restaurant and a grocery store. For the price, it's worth a stay if you find yourself in the area.
