I stayed here for six days in June 2015. This place is just gorgeous. The rooms are everything you'd expect for an expensive high-end luxury hotel -- fridge, tv, and a bathroom bigger than most New York apartments. What's really nice is the attention to detail. Like in the bathrooms, there are Tahitian pearls embedded in the tile trim. There... More

upon arrival they refused to provide the room promised on the phone. Also, mosquitoes were so bad that my wife contracted Chikungunya and had to seek medical treatment. The staff showed total indifference They also nickel dime you to death for everything. We have visited 7 islands in French Polynesia and have had nothing but 100% great experiences. This spot... Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent bungalows, beautiful pool and a little beach with fantastic sunsets and such an easy walk to town so you can experience more. Entertainment some nights, great for a romantic stay. The place in Huahine, for sure.

This place is amazing! The photos do not do justice; the landscaping is incredible as in the room interior. During our stay the staff provided a personal and friendly experience. They were more than happy to offer any ideas and suggestions on activities and things to see. In general Huahine is a breathtaking, true Polynesian experience... We were extremely sad... More

This hotel is boutique-like with thatched roof (air condiditoned) bungalows along a walk through a beautiful tropical garden. The units are huge and the bathroom is ultra modern (there were flowers scattered about when we arrived) with a super sink and a huge walk-in rain-shower. The hotel is minutes from the airport and the authentic Polynesian town of Faire (walk... More

Selected Maitai Lapita village as our top-end venue during visit to French Polynesia with 4 nights Moorea, 3 in Huahine and 3 in Papeete, Tahiti. Picked it as close to Fare village (max. 10 minutes walk along the beach) which offered local eating and drinking options as well as a glimpse of normal island life. Imaginatively designed compound around a... More

The hotel is very well located, just 10 min from the airport without the inconvenience of the airport noises. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The room service menu offers a lot of choice, but is only available till 9pm. Breakfast is nice too, careful though, we had the impression that if you go past 8:30 the buffet isnt... More

My wife and I just spent several days at this hotel and were so pleased with the overall experience. The hotel personnel were so friendly and helpful in providing us information about what to see and do on this peaceful little island. The food and accommodations were beyond our expectations. The rooms were very appealing and had great bath and... More

You are right in town, so be ready for roosters and neighbors. They only own a sliver of beach, so that is not a plus. Snorkeling is OK, not great. American Owners need to hire on more staff, because at times it was very slow getting food and drink service. They also forgot to pick us up at the airport... More

Arriving at this hotel was a little like checking into a spa. The reception staff were impossibly beautiful, serene and charming. Plus the hotel itself was set in such a beautiful, peaceful location. With a nice beach and lagoon view. The restaurant in the hotel was great and you are only a short walk to town if you want to... More
