This was our second stay at the motel. This time we rented three rooms and brought our family and dogs. It was a great week. The motel is so clean, the breakfast is very good, lots of choices and great fresh fruit. It is right next to the beach. Drove north one day and saw the elephant seal colony and... More

I stayed there by myself without a dog, this is not a motel just for dog owners! But if you don't like dogs don't stay there, they are around. If you want impeccably clean room with friendly staff and be AT the beach than this is the place for you. Very cute, clean & convenient to restaurants.

I went by myself without any dogs, this is not a motel only for dog owners. The place is immaculately clean, no trace of a dog being in the rooms. Of course if you don't like dogs, probably not the place for you because there are dogs who stay there with their humans & all so well behaved when I... More

We stayed 3 nights and did not want to leave. Beautiful, clean room.. Can smell, hear the ocean! My dog received a personalized bowl filled with goodies and for me, nice fresh flowers in the room!. Comfortable bed and nice soft pillows. Great continental breakfast and very nice , caring staff. Can't wait to return!

The lady at check-in couldn't have been nicer - VERY cordial and friendly. The room was clean, well updated and VERY comfortable. All amenities (including wi-fi) were top notch. This little motel is a TRUE gem.

clean, friendly basic motel that is perfect for taking your dog buddy. Easy beach access and walk to restaurants and shops. One of the last undeveloped coastal towns in California. Not for the fancy traveler. A relaxing and fun getaway. Beautiful wild beaches.

I can't say enough good things about the Cayucos Motel. If you're up in the Central Coast (w/ your dog) and looking for a place to stay, look no further. This little spot in the heart of Cayucos( 1/2 block from the ocean) is ultra dog-friendly and the owners make you feel right at home. There is a welcome gift... More

Definitely the best motel I have stayed in. From the warm friendly greeting on arrival, to the immaculate cleanliness of the room, super soft towels and a very comfy bed. I would go back to Cayucos just to stay here. And when it says breakfast it means it. No stale muffin and stewed coffee here. Large selection of fresh fruit,... More

This motel is quite good and managed very well. It is very pet friendly to responsible pet owners. The rooms have all tile floors and are nicely decorated. Breakfast is quite good consisting of gourmet pastries, tons of fruit, yogurts, cereals, etc. It is a notch above the typical continental breakfast in quality and freshness, but it is still continental... Spent a week in Cayucos. This motel was great, just a few steps to the beach. Very clean room and outside sitting area. The breakfast is the best I've had. Lots of fresh fruit, pastries from a bakery, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and more. They provide towels, chairs and other beach stuff. The staff was helpful and friendly. Best of... More
