It took us a long time to get there. We came all the way from Paso Robles but it was worth every mile. I quess what we mean is it was great to find such a nice place, reasonably priced, with friendly hosts right in our own back yard. We'll be back! More

Very lovely place to stay on Morro Bay, in the little town of Cayucos. The motel is very clean, the bed is comfortable, the room was bright and cheery, with charming decor. Can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the proprietors, Rick and Rebecca, are. Makes staying in this motel like a home away from home, a little oasis... More

We stayed in January of 2012, and we had a wonderful stay. The room is very nice, clean, the bed is quite comfortable. We were impressed with how clean the room was given the fact that it is a "Motel." We stayed in the Rambling Rose, and were quite satisfied. The hand painted decor makes it feel very special, and... Seaside motel is quite possibly the most charming motel we have ever had the pleasure of staying at! We have traveled all over the world and we rank Seaside as our number one spot! The owners, Rick and Rebecca are the most accommodating hosts and truly make you feel as if you've known them for ages. Our weekend stay was... More

We have stayed several times, and have always had a great experience. Rick and Rebecca are so welcoming and gracious. They are constantly refreshing the rooms with great antique finds, new quilts, changing color schemes. It's fun to watch. We've also referred a number of friends to the Seaside Motel, and they come back raving -- fans for life. If... More

My husband and I stopped over at this motel during our Hwy 1 road trip along the California Coast and we couldn't be more happy with our choice. Rick was very nice and couldn't be more friendlier with making a 'stranger' feel like home. Our room was decorated with a Fish theme and it was neatly displayed throughly the room.... More

Passing through Cayucos, we stopped here and suddenly, simply, serendipitously felt at home. It's because Rebecca and Rick make their home yours. That's the difference to any other motel between SF and LA. The garden will charm the most mile-weary grump, and the rooms enchant the most grump-worn passengers. You won't want to leave, but if you eventually have to,... More

This little motor court has been completely updated and lovingly maintained by owners Rick and Rebecca. The rooms are all individually decorated, super clean and homey. The suite we had wasn't overly large, in that there was no place to place an open suitcase. We didn't have a huge problem with that though - just took out what we needed... More

We booked the Seaside Motel on a recommendation from a friend and were so happy we did. What a pleasure to discover this friendly oasis, in contrast to the impersonal corporate establishments. A sign in Rebecca's Garden invited us to "come in and let my flowers get to know you." We did, and were enchanted by the flowers with the... More

We read the reviews for this motel, so decided to stay here in May 2011. While the owners ARE very nice and accomodating, the room we had was just so so. We got the safari looking room because it was the largest for my daughter and grand-son and myself. I don't know if it was the decor or what, but... More
