Once again I was delighted to be staying at this wonderful motel (such a generic word for this home away from home). For close to eight years my family and I have come down numerous times throughout the summer to stay in Cayucos and time after time we would never think to stay anywhere else. For years prior we'd tried... more

Came across this motel by chance when driving down Highway 1. Intended a 1 night stop but stayed for 3 days - it's a super place to chill-out. Rooms excellent - we had Tea for Two. The Owners are the perfect hosts. If we ever do Highway 1 again we will stop here! Great memories of a chance stop over... more

This is a very nice motel, very clean, Rebecca and Rick are extremely helpful and hospitable, and Tiggy the Cat will make you feel at home. The gardens are so inviting and theraputic, full of amazing plants, flowers, statues, knick-nacks, and birdhouses. Mom and I really enjoyed our stay in the West Wind room, where we had a perfect little... more

We spent the night in the "Fish Fantasy" room, highly recommended! Sure, the kitschy thing maybe isn't for everyone, but we loved it for the night. Very comfortable, very clean., free wifi. Innkeepers were awesome, had a great mexican dinner across the way. Beach was beautiful and peaceful - the locals are very protective of this hidden gem, and we... more

The Seaside is one of the most relaxing places to stay on the central coast. We've been staying here for over 25 years. Great place for summer vacation.....Winter months are fantastic...best weather ever. The beach is just a block away. Plan an October..November or December trip here for a great winter vactation....Sunshine almost always........ more

My family has been vacationing and taking long weekends in Cayucos for over 25 years. This is the first time staying at a motel. Their were 4 of us. Rick made us feel welcome the moment we got out of our cars. Gave us our keys and said "we'll catch up on the paperwork later". We felt like we were... more

I'm used to getting the key to a room, flopping in to a bed, and leaving the next morning. But when I asked where the nearest cyber cafe was, they loaned me a laptop. No deposit or anything, just a real person loaning me a laptop. And then got great advice on where to go for breakfast. The rooms are... more

Was told about this hotel by a friend, and it is absolutely adorable! We stayed in the Tea for 2 Room. Apparently all rooms are themed. How cute is that?! Our room had a King Bed, TV and DVD player. The heater worked wonders and the sheets and comforter was so so comfortable. Loved the Room, the service, and the... more

Cayucos is filled with little old motels without much to distinguish them, but the devotion that Rebecca and Rick have obviously shown to this little old motel make it a real standout. It's one block from an entrance to the beach, one block from Cayucos' best restaurant and one block from the best place for morning coffee in town. Each... more

Just returned from my first stay at Seaside where I spent a relaxing week and slept like a baby lulled to dreamland each night by the sound of the surf in suite #12. Seaside is a one -of-a kind place, a labor of love by the owners Rick and Rebecca who live onsite and know every inch of their property... more
