first of all I would like to say that if you are looking to stay in a Hilton style resort in Cayucos you should probably step back and cruise back down to Pismo Beach where it is less localized and more commercial. Cayucos is one of the last little beach towns in Cayucos and it definitely has a different, old... More

We have stayed here before and while it's not luxurious it was cute. It is right on the main street on Cayucos and very convenient to the restaurants and festival we were going to attend. This time however was very different. The carpet was filthy (not just dirty) and there were large stains all over. There was dog poop all... More

Arkivet very late and Was able to get two rooms in this motel. The rooms have different themes which has been carried out to perfection. Apart from some stains on the carpet, which is expected in a dog friendly motel, everything was nice and clean and is recommended if traveling along the west coast.

There must be 2 sides to this hotel, some think it is great, others not so much. Check in took a while. The floors were gross. My dog curled up in the corner to avoid the stains. The dirtiest floors in any pet friendly room I've ever stayed in. Walls are paper thin and we could everything from next door.... More

The carpet was so disgusting that we kept our shoes on the entire time we were there. It took five days to get a returned call to confirm our room. Having a dog in th room above us kept us up half the night. We could also hear their TV.

October 2013, my husband and I went to Cayucos for his sister's wedding. We wanted to save a few bucks, so we went to Cypress Tree Motel. What a mistake. There were big stains on the old carpet in the room. I thought it wasn't a big deal - we just needed a place to sleep. But when we got... More

I'm actually lying in their bed right now as I write this review. Perfect little place to stay. Everything you could need. And the price was good. Old-fashioned, cute, and charming. Other than not actually being able to see the ocean – it was exactly what we were looking for.

We had the last room available, and actually maybe we struck it lucky as we had a kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom, and I have to say it was very clean. The décor was clearly not just thrown together or straight from a designer magazine but someone who wanted to share their own style. Very conveniently located.

If you travel with pets or kids this is the place to stay! Lori was super friendly and accommodating, we had three dogs with us and two grandkids. The fire pit and BBQ grill made the evening! Cute rooms with fridge and coffee too.

I wanted to like this place, but it was just dirty. The carpet needs to be changed and there is dust everywhere. Our family are all in the hospitality industry and this place was just embarrassing. It just didn't feel clean. I am not trying to be mean, but I think the owner may have lost their way, time for... More
