We had a fortnight here after exchanging with RCI. As this was a trip celebrating my retirement and 60th birthday we had a requested a golf course view which the resort was able to arrange for us. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here, the apartment we were in had been refurbished and was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and... More

Very hospital and friendly staff! We stayed in a 1-BDR unit. Mint-condition, featuring tasteful updated rooms, with upscale/update furniture. Very functional. Kitchen offered all tools needed! The maintenance staff was extremly courtesy as well and we never disturbed by any maintanence work. Located in the middle of Coachella Valley the resort was located within great commute to the special features... More

we stayed for 2 weeks recently at this resort travelling from the UK. .First impressions were ok, apart from the persistant ladyon the concierge desk insisting we drop by to pick up a car park permit....this procedure will involve you in being talked in to attend a time share presentation with hard sell...dont do it ...the apartment was ok....tired but... Having read the latest review prior to staying at this resort, I was quite worried. Now I am not sure if we stayed at the same place. This was a very nice resort. The room was clean and well stocked (including toiletries) The towel policy made perfect sense -- you leave the same number in your room that were there... More

We are back again Palm Spring area after 1 week break. This time we are staying at the (Welk Resorts Desert Oasis) this place is very tight and accounts for everything. They place limits and restrictions on total # towels issued...They give you worn towels and at the time of your departure if you are missing one towel you will... More

great location near cathedral city and palm springs....i found the resort to be underwhelming when compared to the Escondido resort. The rooms were very nice, but 1/2 the rooms have a parking lot view and there's only 1 pool and 1 jacuzzi for all of the guests to share. I would say definitely a kid/family place for a vacation, not... More

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was super friendly, bubbly and helpful. I really appreciated their kind energy and the time they spent recommending restaurants for us to enjoy our stay. They also have a great game room for families with ping pong, pool, board games, puzzles, etc. We... More

We traded a week for a girls' trip at this resort. We were looking forward to floating in the pool while drinking beachy drinks. We knew the resort wasn't new so we didn't expect luxury. The check-in staff was very friendly and was able to honor my request for a pool view. The room that was reserved for us wasn't... More

We normally stay at the Desert Spring Marriott Villas II every year in April. This summer we had the opportunity to stay a week at Welk's Desert Oasis in July as well. It is not fair to compare the two but I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The staff is fabulous, everyone you pass is friendly and outgoing and... More

Booked this place as a companion to our extended vacation in August as a quicker, cheaper get-away for a few days to the desert. We love Palm Springs, and wanted to find a place we could take the kids and not end up hating ourselves and them by the end of the trip. The "apartment" was pretty well-appointed, but what... More
