We bid $50 per night on Priceline and got the room for that. As we pulled in around 8ish, I wasn't sure if they were open...lol They didn't look busy at all. The staff was very nice, friendly. Got our room, and headed for it. The bed was a little bit hard for my taste, but nothing compared to the... more

We stayed at the Doral Princess on our way back to AZ from a California trip. Had we stayed solely at this resort with nothing to compare it to, it probably would have seemed alot nicer than it was. We came from the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach and the Embassy Suites in San Diego, so the Doral seemed a bit... more

My stay was horrific as expected and suggested by previous reviews from TripAdvisor. First of all, the name is misleading - the address is in Cathedral City. Most Palm Springs areas where you might want to visit are at least 20 to 30 minutes away from the resort. My friend paid so much for a cab to get back to... more

Booking over a weekend resulted in a higher than usual price, ($111 plus $15 daily resort fee). The room was ample in size and well decorated. The carpet is in poor shape and needs to be replaced. Nice patio with view of a fountain and the grounds. The resort fee was well worth the price. They provide a shuttle service... more

We went to the Doral Desert Princess Resort "Palm Springs" thinking somehow we might actually BE in Palm Springs. Not a chance. First of all, the name is misleading - take a clue from the address (in Cathedral City). Secondly, the actual areas where you might want to visit are at least 20 to 30 minutes away from the resort.... more

We stayed here during Pacific Life Open. I thought the hotel was very nice. The decor in the room was very pretty, the bathroom has double sink vanity with granite counter tops, tiled floor, nice towels, and fridge, coffee maker. Our room had a balcony with wonderful views of the mountains, lake and golf course. We booked this through Travelocity... more

We just returned from a 3 day stay at the formerly magnificent Doral. I say this with sadness in my heart, because the property itself is just wonderful. It has great bones. The staff was friendly. But this hotel is in dire need of a update and just total renovation. Our room had a lovely view, but the room itself... more

The staff is horribly apathetic...could not care less about the guests needs or requests. There is also a $15 per day "resort " fee, which they fail to mention on either Priceline or the Doral website. They state this fee is for telephone, daily newspaper, fitness center...the list goes on...Everything that is free at other hotels, in other words.... I... more

I will start off by saying the views from the pool view rooms and pool area are breathtaking. The rooms need work. the unknown stain on the carpets are curious. cleanliness it in top 80%.Small attention to detail would greatly change my rating. The Doral is not easily located to much of anything but in the middle of Palm Springs... more

This is my 4th time staying here for a tennis tournament that is held yearly. It's a solid four star hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bedding isn't 5 star, but neither is the price. The hotel's greatest asset is the breathtaking view of the mountains against the backdrop of a manicured golf course. Most of the rooms have this... more
