Booking over a weekend resulted in a higher than usual price, ($111 plus $15 daily resort fee). The room was ample in size and well decorated. The carpet is in poor shape and needs to be replaced. We stayed here during Pacific Life Open. I thought the hotel was very nice. The decor in the room was very pretty, the bathroom has double sink vanity with granite counter tops, tiled floor, nice towels, and fridge, coffee maker. We just returned from a 3 day stay at the formerly magnificent Doral. I say this with sadness in my heart, because the property itself is just wonderful. It has great bones. The staff was friendly. The staff is horribly apathetic...could not care less about the guests needs or requests. There is also a $15 per day "resort " fee, which they fail to mention on either Priceline or the Doral website. I will start off by saying the views from the pool view rooms and pool area are breathtaking. The rooms need work. the unknown stain on the carpets are curious. cleanliness it in top 80%.Small attention to detail would greatly change my rating.
