The best part of this motel is that it's kind of in the middle between Monterey and Santa Cruz and it's pretty cheap compared with others in those areas. It seemed reasonably clean, but is old and used up. Some rooms seemed to rent by the month. I was able to sleep OK, it was quiet, but if you're looking... More

Facility seem to be ok from the outside; inside though is another story. Inn is in center of a very little town; about fifteen minutes to Monterey's Fisherman's Whaft; a few minutes drive to most of the beach cities; carpet need upgrading; smoke detector cover is hanging on the ceiling; bathroom fixture is old, dirty and rusty; towel hanging hook... This is a low-budget motel. If you're looking for frills, go elsewhere and pay more. We wanted a night out of town on the coast and a clean room & bed. The room and bed seemed clean as far as we could tell. The two people working the front desk were courteous. The curtain on the windows was not a... More

Positives: Clean sheets on bed near the highway to get out of there Negatives: Expensive for what it is Shower mouldy Stained carpet Room stank Bad smell Unhelpful manager Rowdy during the night- fighting, vomiting We only stopped here because we were tired from our drive down. My advice, keep driving.

I checked in and got room 206. The room was dirty and there was what looked like blood on one of the chairs and the drapes. The floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed, there was food crumbs on the tables, the fridge didn't work, and there was black mold in the very crummy bathroom. My next option was 214,... More

My first room smelled awefull and the tv remote was not working, after 3 attempts to fix the remote and attitude from the desk clerk I changed rooms . It smelled better but no remote. Back to the front desk x2 furniture is late 1970's Dirty in many places within the room. I guess it's fine at $70 a night... More
