I have to say my stay here was excellent. Les, the manager, was more than helpful and accommodating in a variety of circumstances. Great for restaurant info as well as other local info. I highly recommend the place.

We visited this Inn this week March 27, 2015. It was very reasonable, very clean, bathrooms are actually in granite, a surprise, it is quiet, no frills, but all ameneties one would need. Even has coffee in the rooms. They do advertise a continental breakfast, but that is just coffee and some pre-packaged sweet rolls. One weird thing, they have... More

Hotels in the bay area are very expensive, usually more than what a traveler wants to pay. You can stay at one of the 'diamond' hotels, and spend your life savings. Or, drive down the road to The Castro Valley Inn. Nothing over the top here, you get a clean room at a reasonable price. The place has a very... More

Finding lodging in the SF bay area can be pricey and sometimes you just need a good night's sleep after traveling and you're leaving early the next morning and so you don't need the whole nine yards. We got a great price for one night at the Castro Valley Inn. Having read other reviews, we also asked for a room... More

I stayed at the Castro Value Inn for a few days in September. I found the Inn to be a very good value. It is clean, quiet, and easy to park. The only reason I did not give it a rating of five was that the WiFi is slow to very slow. That's life. I will stay there again in... More

This is a great little place that does exactly what it says on the tin - and well. Given the high cost of staying anywhere in San Francisco, the easy Interstate location of the Castro Valley Inn makes San Franscisco tourism just 30 minutes or so away (as is SFO). The manager (does he ever sleep?) was helpful on a... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting our son and his family. Since we were just there to sleep, I didn't want to spend a small fortune on accommodations. This was the perfect pick. The manager, Les, was attentive to our needs, and always available. We had coffee in the lobby, and there is a Safeway... More

I looked and found no dirt, immaculate room. The cleanest place I ever saw. Great mgr. I will be back. Good tv, micro, refrig, coffee in room, hair dryer, quiet. Market and bbq across street, freeway access.

"No place like home "....everything about this hotel is great its so great, that I sometimes just come and rent a room and not even stay. Just so I can get the best coffee and breakfest. And all the workers plus the manger "less" is the best a very much stress free invorment. Best place to relax.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on a mini-vacation. We didn't want to pay the higher prices for hotels in San Francisco and we wanted to be close to BART. We achieved both with Castro Valley Inn. The hotel is an older property but has been maintained well. Our room was clean and comfortable for the two... More
