The prices of places to stay in the Santa Barbara area are exorbitant. This motel offers a modest place to stay; best if you are out and about, and don't need to hang about in the room. The bed was comfortable; the room appeared to be very clean, and despite its location near 101, it was amazingly quiet. Management is... More

Just about what is to be expected from a true budget hotel. The room was clean, the shower worked fine, and I got a good night;s sleep. No amenities to speak of, but it was the cheapest non-fleabag motel around.

Upon entry the hotel room seemed clean enough; It actually looked better on the inside of the hotel than the outside. Once we were settled, I decided to hop in the shower. There was no hot water. I waited and waited for the water to heat up. It was tepid at best. As i climbed in the freezing shower, I... More

Last month a friend and I drove down Route 1 and needed to stop for the night. After checking a few places, this inn seemed adequate and economical for one night. The check-in process seemed long and tedious. The room at first looked ok, the tv and internet worked fine. But the first sign of problems was a steady stream... More

I have stayed the past three years for three nights each August. Clean rooms with very firm and comfortable beds. Flat screen television. Bathrooms are full width at back of room with opening outside window . . . and a tiled shower with a showerhead high enough for a six foot person to wash their hair without having to kneel... More

Good for one night only, arrived late and left early. No-frills place, rooms and bathroom were clean,. We had to pay $ 170 USD for a night, wayy too much for a place like this one. Half of paid price would be acceptable, however we had no choice. To be fair, overall experience was ok, but wouldn't stay for longer.... More

Travelling with family of four, we needed to find a place to stay. Santa Barbara rooms were way out of our budget. We found this friendly motel and it met our needs. We checked in after 10 p.m. and were out by 7:30 am. There's not a whole lot of space for four people to move around, but that was... More

Me and my husband have stayed here on and off over the past month due to his construction jobs. I am a military reservist and they give military discounts, which is great with their already super low rates. The manager Marco runs a tight ship. The rooms are super clean and they do not allow smoking inside or near the... More
