A bit pricey for the amenities. No free WiFi, no air conditioner, no free breakfast. The little town itself was lovely but there is no way this is worth $118 for the night. There was only me member of staff who seemed helpful enough to help us get a discount.

Other than taking a tent (or camper) this is about as cost effective as you are going to get in this high-rent district just south of Santa Barbara. Its gotta be one of Tom's priciest locations. OK for a night stopover in the area and GPS will help you find it, especially if coming from the north on 101. There... More

We haven't stayed at a Motel 6 for a few years. One major change was the hard wood floor instead of carpeting. While this may be better for a downstairs room, it is not for an upstairs room. The guest above us came in at two AM and walked around the room with shoes on. The guest finally went to... More

I must admit that the room was very clean. The style in the rooms is almost spartan. There isn't very much in there. I was thinking the room could almost be automated to clean itself. However, the room smelled: a mix between old-folks home and disinfectant. Second, the room faces highway 101 and you can hear the cars, trucks, and... More

Asked for a non smoking room, got a room that smelled horrible even the front desk guy came and confirmed that it smelled bad. Checked out an other room which was just as bad as the other. Internet very slow. Outside the room ppl were also smoking their stuff...loud and noisy. Skip this hotel drive on to an other one... More

I spent two nights at this Motel 6 due to a volleyball tournament. It had its goods and its bads. The good: This place seems newly updated, sporting a kind of Danish Modern vibe. The pictures they show online of the room itself (not the bathroom) are accurate, except that the angle they take the picture from (as shown on... More

Its basic but clean, and was a perfectly adequate overnight stop. We paid for the wi-fi - there were 2 options, the more expensive one being $5 which we chose, but it was a bit hit and miss, and didn't work particularly well even when working. That is our one minor complaint. We didn't expect luxury and its probably expensive... More

Some may think that if a room is anything over $30, it should be a 5 star hotel or something, after reading reviews from others on both Motel 6's in this town! Let me say first off, that I did check out a few dumps that were a block from the beach, but looked dumpy enough to afford to stay... More

Booked this room at the last minute on Motel6.com. It was a bit pricey for a Motel 6 but I took it anyway because nothing else was available. Check-in was a bit narly because their credit card machines weren't working. However, the room was very clean and functional. Had a great night's sleep. I would recommend it.
