Got there late and the hotel was sold out due to a lacrosse tournament at the local Polo Club. This locations was about 5 mins away so we stayed Friday night. First, it SMELLED like smoke. It was a non-smoking room (according to the sign on the door) but there 2 ashtrays in the room. Hmmmm. Well, it was late... More

Me and my boyfriend were on a roadtrip so we only stayed there for 1 night. The hotel is OK, between all the motel options avaliable Motel 6 is not the best one. They never have breakfast or wi-fi. Wouln´d stay there again.

We stayed here two nights because the hotels in Santa Barbara are outrageously expensive. The room was very clean. The shower was adequate, but the water pressure could be better. Please bring your own pillows and towels because the towels and pillows are poor quality. It took all day for the air conditioning to get cold.Overall,we didn't expect much so we weren't disappointed.

We stayed here two nights. We usually stay in Santa Barbara where my daughter lives but the room rates were over $300 (for old motels, not luxury) on these particular days. We paid around $130 a night here. It was decent, clean, quiet, no frills. No coffee pot, shampoo or any amenities. It had sheet type covers on the bed... More

Very clean, but it's a sterile prison cell suite. No amenities; shampoo, clock, table lamps, art work, a counter in bathroom, etc. Extra firm bed. Everything was the same textured, semi-gloss white - walls, ceiling, doors, outlets, etc., except for the burnt-orange wall at the headboard. The staff was staff, as expected - no better, no worse. If given an... More

We stayed for 1 night while participating in Semana Nautica swim events in Santa Barbara. I had long ago written off Motel 6 because I found them to be too depressing and often patronized by sketchy people. However, summer weekend room rates near Santa Barbara are so astronomically high that we decided to take a chance and stay here. Overall,... More

The front desk person was very friendly, the pool was refreshing, the room was immaculate and well thought-out with handy places to put toiletries and towels. The motel is right next to Hwy 101, so if you have a front room, it is likely quite loud; I was near the back, and it was fine for me. The only complaint... More

Stayed here during Santa Barbara gaduation time, as everything else was sold out. Might have been my first time staying at a Motel 6...and the place was comfortable and quiet. Was pleasantly surprised by the visit...

I was driving from San Diego to Seattle where I spend one night at this hotel. I checked-in quite late, around 11pm, and hit the road early in the morning. However, there are a few things that I believe you have to consider before booking a room here: - The hotel is just 200 feets away from freeway 101. If... More

Cleaner rooms, better beds and sterile ice machines. Not to mention thermostatic controls in the rooms. Great service although unless you are familiar with the area, getting to the tourist areas, beaches and restaurants are a GPS necessity. Great wxperience all around. Will stay here again.
