Great hosts. You immediately know they have put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. Combined with their respect for your privacy, it is truly your home in Menhamn ,should you find yourself there.

Mehamn at the far north of Norway can be reached by ship, car and presumably plane given that it has an airport. There is plenty to do for visitors and walkers in the area, and Ruan and Tina at Red Tree are helpful and obliging from the moment you arrive. They will suggest activities and places to see, and all... More

Tina and Ruan were the perfect hosts as they welcomed us to Mehamn and the region. Activity planning and support were on hand in the shop. Everything was clean and many small details were in place. We had a great stay and are already missing the northern hospitality!

We spent two nights at the B&B and 5 nights at their cabin. The welcome by Tina and Ruan was genuine and it was obvious that they took their time for each guest. The rooms were clean and many small details were considered. This is a quality B&B for those who want to discover nature and the local culture. As... More

This is a great place to be in the very north of Norway. The staff is so friendly and the hostel so cosy that one feels directly home. The prices are very good for Norway. They also have a little shop where they sell postcards, home-made jam and hand-made artifacts by locals. One can feel that the couple who owns... More

I stayed here for one night before my adventurous 2 days hike to Kinnarodden in June 2013. I was welcomed by the owners Juan and Tina, which were nice and helpful. The place is basically a house with two rooms, a living room and kitchen. Toilet is downstairs but you have a sink in your room. Very friendly atmosphere and... More

This was the first time we visited Mehamn and Red Tree. What a nice suprise we had with my brother after getting used to "typical" norvegian B&B or cabin accomodations (and believe we have tried a few). This was the first really neat, cosy and clean place with an affordable price so far. Also the kitchen was equipped with the... More

This was my fourth trip to Mehamn and the third time staying at the Red Tree (it didn't exist the first time I was there). I've sometimes been by myself and recently with friends - there are not many places to stay in the area and this is certainly the best around. Ruan & Tina have made a very welcoming,... More

The only cheap accomodation around and we felt like at home! The house is colourful (not common up there), the two guys always ready to give infos and i'm looking forward to come back in winter:the activities they offer really look exciting! and last but not least:the breackfast is not fast ,but enormous and home-made (as a brunch) :) ......
