Stayed here a wedding weekend in which our family rented out almost the entire lodge. The lodge was so accommodating to our group. The pool area was great. They allowed us to set up a family bbq there without any issues. The front desk was so helpful and sweet. They went out of their way on multiple occasions to make... More

We stayed there for two nights. The food was appalling, the noise at night was ridiculous. I found the place pretentious and a total rip off! The only thing going for it was the view from our suite. The only highlight of the whole thing was the Honey Course, which was fantastic and educational. The kids loved it. We went... More

We loved our visit here last August. So peaceful and friendly. The room was nice and the kids really enjoyed the fireplace and making s'mores! At the front office they had movies you can barrow to watch in your room. Pool was a little chilly but the Breakfast buffet made it all worth while.

A great place to unwind & relax. Rooms comfortable & clean. Pool area very nice. Staff warm & welcoming with homemade samples of toffee in lobby. Carmel Valley is nice as it is usually out of the coastal fog & warm & sunny. Our room (12) was great location by pool with coffee maker, microwave & small fridge. Breakfast included... More

We had a comfortable stay at the Carmel Valley Lodge. The room wasn't very big but adequate for two of us. We had an excellent breakfast the next morning in their conference center, including waffles and fresh fruit. It was within walking distance of several wine tasting rooms and restaurants.

A beautiful place to stay with wonderful countryside all around. The service was fantastic with it feeling surprisingly intimate for a large hotel. Breakfast is taken next to the golf course quite a long way from the accomodation but transport is provided for you with both drop off an collection. The pool is beautiful as are the rooms which are... More

We rented 28 of the 30 rooms available at the lodge for a family wedding that was held at Holman Ranch. Our stay was fantastic! The front desk staff (Ruth and Drew) helped us with all of our needs and made our check-in smooth. Breakfast was great although our group pretty much polished it off by 9:30 am . .... More

My wife and I joined our middle daughter and husband for 3 nights of R & R and a little business at Laguna Seca race track. We have been staying here since 1977 and have enjoyed the upgrades Peter has done to the property over the years. Monday morning he was in the breakfast room and we had a nice... More

I'm giving a 5 star because it really was beyond my expectations. We typically stay in more high end hotels on our vacations but this place was a great experience. If you want a nice throw back Californian experience this place is perfect! Wood burning fireplaces make the grounds smell wonderful. Great lodge feel. Heated pool and little pockets of... More

Front desk staff is very nice and friendly. If you are a return guest they will give you a good room rate in the off season. We like the pool and hot tub. The grounds are well taken care of. There is a game room with a pool table and horse shoes. The rooms have a wood burning fireplace with... More
