My husband and I stayed at Stonepine for 2 nights during a Pacific Coast Highway trip. The grounds are beautiful, private and peaceful. Our room was in the Paddock House with a view of the horses, and we ended up having the whole house to ourselves during the stay. Families of deer were just a few steps away from our... More

Just recently spent the weekend at StonePine Estate for a friends wedding. The estate grounds are beyond amazing, I felt transported into a beautiful movie scene the second we arrived. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. The decor is brilliant - like your crazy, quirky grandma with her wordly goods decorated it - in... More

My husband and I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for the weekend. We read the one review from the online concierge, San Francisco, CA and was worried about it. I called and talked to the director of reservation and she reassured me that I would have a wonderful time there, and it was... More

We visited the Stonepine Estate for an small post-elopement dinner with several dear friends. It was a wonderful experience. We sat outside at the outdoor living room til dusk turned to darkness, under the moon and stars, with wonderful wine, flowers, and music, and a view of the pond and mansion across the large lawn. Then we went inside for... More

This place has fallen apart over the years. People won't board their horses there, they are getting sued for poorly managing weddings and events.... i couldn't even get an email or call back from them in regards to wanting to stay. When a company isn't organized enough to accept money from someone who wishes to give it to you, you... More

I have been fortunate to stay at this resort a couple times for business. This is not a typical resort. It is really special. Either for events or for couples. It can be a great event place as well - for weddings for big events - but rooms are limited. For a couple - wow. It is very special indeed.... More

Stone Pine is absolutely beautiful. My girlfriend and I recently stayed there for a long weekend. We enjoyed every aspect of this property. The staff was especially kind and courteous. If you want to be treated like royalty for a few days this is the place. We were even lucky enough to meet the owner. He gave us a personal... More

We had the distinct pleasure of staying for three days at the Stonepine Estate in Carmel Valley last week and it was a dream. The property is beautiful and peaceful, yet there is a lot to do on the property and in the vicinity. We took walks, ate great food and explored Carmel and the Valley. Breakfast was brought to... We stayed there on our anniversary and it was quite an experience. From the moment we checked in to the morning we departed, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the house that is near the stables and had a blast, took long walks on the grounds and had a wonderful dinner. Great place... More

My Wife and I were invited to stay in the Estate for two nights on June 30 and July 1 of 2006, as part of the wedding party. The bride’s family had rented out the estate for the weekend. It also coincided with our 1-year anniversary. The accommodations were extremely nice and there was not a single thing to complain... More
