Carmel Valley is an exquisite setting for this unusual and historic tennis resort. The food is glorious (all included in the price, so you pay twice if you wish to eat elsewhere). This was my second trip to Gardiner's. The location is beautiful but it is definitely geared for tennis players (which I am). It is American plan and the food is exceptionally good.
