We ordered the romace package. First off they gave us the wrong room then they shorted our gift cirt. No big deal.... The room smelled like dog. The robes smelled like wet dog. The monings that were said to include breakfast, at our door were 2 boxes of raisin bran and some stale buns. really???? for 270 a night? I... More

Dear TripAdvisor Readers: While we always appreciate comments and suggestions that will help us to better serve our guests, it was troubling to receive this review because these complaints were never brought to our attention by these guests during their stay. We would find it reasonable for any guest experiencing these types of conditions or service to bring it to... More

Especially impressed with the management ( Kelly ) I was traveling with a one year old she offered a pack and play and recommended fun family places to visit that my one year old would enjoy. his was not the way I planned to spend my 10 yr anniversary. Based on all the reviews and website of the inn I booked a room but unfortunately was very disappointed! The $300 room turned out to be a simple motel room with old decor and not what I thought I would be getting. Nothing charming or romantic about... More

We appreciate the valuable feedback that forums such as TripAdvisor provide to us. However, in this case we were very disappointed to receive such a negative review from someone who decided not to stay at the Wayside Inn for what we feel were reasons of personal preference. Since it was apparent that our small cottage style inn was not suited... More

We stayed in this Inn last year, and have finally got around to making a comment. A place has to be pretty special for me to even consider bothering with this, but Wayside Inn is worth the trouble. The room was immaculate in every way, and the help from Laurie with the room and finding a great Carmel restaurant was... More

My family and I had an amazing stay close to Christmas. The town was decorated beautifully and so was Wayside Inn (They had some very festive Christmas lights up). The room we stayed in had two queen beds with a cute little fireplace in the corner. I was surprised at how spacious the room was. All of the staff at... More

We had a big discount when we stayed so that improved its value proposition for me. It is not an "elegant" hotel, but rather a B&B approach in a highly improved motel-style building. That makes it sound bad; but it is actually really nice. It is quite charming. The bed was VERY comfortable, simple continental breakfast delivered each morning. Lot's... More

My wife and I stayed here after Christmas for a little getaway. Wayside Inn was a pleasure to stay in. The staff was great and the amenities made the stay perfect. It was also close to all the great restaurants in town. The place was clean and the fireplace was a great feature. We stayed in room #9 and with... More

The Wayside Inn is a rare gem. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. We had the room with a large jacuzzi tub next to the fireplace. After long walks all day and evening the hot tub was very relaxing and romantic. The hotel manager Kelly is like no other. She had great suggestions of where to eat and what... More
