My husband and I spent two nights in the King Suite - a separate cottage, a couple of blocks from Ocean Ave. We brought our dog Bogey and we had a wonderfully relaxed mini-vacation. Carmel is truly one of the most pet-friendly towns in the country.

My wife and I have stayed at the Carmel Country Inn numerous times over perhaps ten years. While being a great pet friendly place (we take out dog and cat) and the initial reason we stayed there, we've found the Inn charming and very comfortable over the years and the Inn staff very friendly and helpful.

It was beautiful - and cozy, both my husband and I as well as our 9 year old son LOVED it. Our dogs enjoyed it too.

We stayed here for two nights in late November. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was so cozy it felt like you were staying at a friend's house. We have stayed at a couple B&Bs in the past two months and I keep wishing we'll walk in and find the Carmel Country Inn's room! Bed was fantastic,... More

We stayed at Carmel Country Inn for 4 nights in early January. This was our second 4 night stay in 6 months. The accommodations are of good size, in particular the bathrooms. The bathroom toiletries are of high quality and the towels are thick and abundant. The bed is very comfortable and the Inn is delightfully quiet. The included breakfast... More

My husband and I visited Carmel for my Birthday in December and wanted to stay in a place that was Pet Friendly as we never go anywhere without our two Chihuahua's. Carmel Country Inn was one of our first choices as it had the best website, was the friendliest when I contacted them and seemed the most pet friendly, so... More

We enjoyed two great days at the Inn and it was love at first sight as we were greeted by a large, well-fed cat sitting in the arms of one of the innkeepers. So, leaving my two cats at home made this a lovely and welcoming scene! This is an older place, however, we stayed in the large room with... More

We found this place after some google searching as it did not initially appear on Tripadvisor (only after we searched for it by name). It was everything we hoped for and more. We stayed at the "Treetop" room (granted it is one of the most expensive ones, but it was well worth it). The room is spacious and comfortable, with... More

My wife and I came to the Carmel Country Inn for our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great! We were close to downtown Carmel, but the inn was tucked away and felt very private. We'll definitely be staying at the Carmel Country Inn again.

We picked a Luxury King Studio in this Inn on the edge of Carmel after comments by reviewers on TripAdvisor. This was a great tip...these two rooms were only constructed last year and are every bit as spacious and luxurious as the CCI website photos suggest. As you'd expect in Carmel, the Inn is expensive ($300 per night) but I... More
