I have traveled with my dog nationally and internationally and never been treated so rudely. This hotel has an unwavering "no pets alone" in the room policy which according to the hotel staff is found in EVERY hotel in Monterey and Carmel. We recently traveled to Carmel to stay at the Carmel Counrty Inn. Everybody was welcoming and friendly. We brought our 2 golden retrievers and the accomodations were perfect. The rooms were clean and homey. Very close to beach, and all the downtown shopping. We would definately stay there again! The Genicoff's more

I was pleasantly surprised by this charming B&B. The room was very spacious - huge king bed with fireplace and the bathroom with jetted tubs was amazing. Comfortable but too much noise for me...the shower water was never hot enough for the need to run any cold water with it. For the price of the two bedroom/ one bath I would much rather be at Doris Day's hotel. This room was in need of updating and not for me. Jacque more

Our hot water systems are set to UBC Standards as well as the faucets in all of our guest rooms, which could be at a different temperature than in private residences. Upon occasion, when you stay in public lodging establishment rather than the privacy of your own home, you are going to hear other guests. We have a “Quite Time”...
