We stayed 2 nights in one of the Rustic Rooms for $95. It was great. Large closet with 2 white terry robes, 2 extra pillows, another blanket and a luggage rack. In the bathroom there is shampoo & conditioner in one of those wall mounted things. Nicely scented mini lotion bottle. Nice firm mattress. Only complaint was the hard pillows.Should... More

Honestly I normally stay in much nicer places, but we were lucky to get a room for,the weekend, and the prices were surprisingly modest. We were in a remodeled room, which was clean but very unremarkable. If we had paid a lot, we would have not given it a high rating. But it was fine for a few days and... More

We were attracted to staying in a Clint Eastwood property and liked the idea of being in Carmel township, while keeping the rustic feel of the homestead. Room was basic, although the price of just over $100 was great value. Breakfast at Mission Ranch was more than plentiful. And nice to be able to walk into Carmel with its range... More

The hotel room only cost slighty over a hundred dollars a night and had everything you would want. Clean, comfortable, quite, modern and evident that appropriate care had been taken in selecting the elements of the room which all fitted together perfectly. Carmel is a beautiful place to visit and this could not be a better place to stay while... More

Hi - I really wanted to like this hotel. I really did. After all, it's owned by Clint Eastwood! And was only 2 blocks from the beach! But turning up to check-in to be greeted by a huge warning of asbestos in the building wasn't a very positive omen. The concierge upgraded me to a refurbished King Suite for the... More

We generally liked this inn located just a few blocks from the center of town. The bed was cozy and the wifi was pretty fast. The only annoying part was that the free breakfast was only at the Mission Ranch about a mile or so away. That said, the staff was super-nice and suggested a number of locations in town... More

My wife and I have stayed here many times, especially when we could not get in the Mission Ranch. This is a Clint Eastwood property. It includes a free continental breakfast at Mission Ranch and access to the Fitness Center at the Ranch. Since we like to exercise this is a real plus. Rooms vary in size and price. Prices... More

We stayed 1 night here on our trip, older property but mostly has been updated, we had free breakfast at the Mission Inn right down the street which was typical continental grub but was fresh and good in their tennis court clubhouse, we wished we would have went there for dinner the night before as the view from the glass... I don't know where to start. Location perfect. Rooms simple and elegant. Staff friendly and polite. Price very very reasonable. We are at the sister hotel Mission Ranch. Sat at the piano bar for drinks. That's 3 minutes away. Watched the sunset at the beach at the end if the street. Were able to visit Big Sur and Pebble Neach... More

My husband and I just returned from Carmel. Didn't have reservations. Stopped in at Homestead Inn (owned by Clint Eastwood) and got a great rate for a wonderful room. $150 per night special rate. We were in room 50 which had a huge bathroom, fireplace and two queen beds. Very cute décor in Mission style. Right outside of our door... More
