Although it might look small, but it is lovely quaint hotel in an amazing town. Carmel is a nice lovely town that must be visited. Hotel room was very nicely furnished and bathroom is comfy. Breakfast was included which was OK. I recommend..

Best place in town if you're looking for clean and inexpensive accommodations. We stayed at a few other places (not worth mentioning) on our two-week stay in Carmel, but by far, our stay at Comfort Inn was the best! Gita and her crew at the front desk are so friendly and so accommodating. We are going back this Labor Day... More

It is the first hotel off of HWY 101 into Carmel. Reasonable rate for the weekend, close to all shopping and a great market right in back to get lunch for the beach. They provide a nice continental breakfast and outside patio to sit and chill. Remember to bring walking shoes because Carmel is one big outdoor mall,on a hillside.... More

The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean. The free breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel is centrally located and ample parking is available. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay here again.

Our overnight stay in Carmel at the Comfort Inn was very nice. The whole town has a special feeling that the Inn carries as well. The rooms were small but very nice and the staff was great! Thank you Carmel for a wonderful evening at the Bistro Beaujolais and an overnight stay at the Comfort Inn.

Really, what more can you ask for? Simple, clean, quiet...and walking distance to one of the great and scenic towns in the United States. Rooms where right-sized and nice - even having a 'Dutch door' to have open on a pleasant afternoon - and morning breakfast offering/room was peaceful and clean. Staff very kind, too. And, parking was easy, close,... More

In all honesty I'm not sure why I picked this place (tripadvisor played a big part no doubt), but I did. We arrived early enough to score one of the six off street parks. I found the check in desk in the same tiny room where breakfast is served and checked in without too much hassle. I can't attest to... More

This property is wedged into a tiny property. Seems like less than twenty rooms, all facing one direction, giving your wallet a wedgie. Location is really decent, close to the quaint and charming shopping of Carmel. But the tiny rooms furnishing with large clunky furniture makes it impossible for one person to pass be the other one en route to... More

It was a nice stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking can be difficult as it is first come fist serve. Has a decent continental breakfast. Walking distance to the beach and shopping. Grocery store 2 minutes away.
