We just returned from 3 days at Quail Lodge and I couldn't be happier with our stay! Check-in was very smooth and very pleasant. We were given a map of the grounds which helped us find our "room," #284 - but it felt like a standalone cottage (Double Queen beds) instead. It was very easy to get to and one... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night this past Friday and it was a great stay! Without asking for it, Amanda moved us to a charming room right by the lake with full few of quail. The room was renovations are beautiful. Our room was comfortable and I loved the tub and shower. The only downsides of the... More

Quail Lodge provides excellent value, especially if you stay mid-week or take advantage of one of their special deals. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in their nearby clubhouse restaurant one night. The room retained the older feel of a California ranch house, but it had been recently renovated and everything was new and comfortable. The room itself was... More

My wife and I stayed over this last weekend as a base for exploring some of Carmel Valley. With the discounted rates at this time of year the stay was plausible even though we live a short distance to the north. The location is several miles east of Carmel off Carmel Valley Road hence its quiet location though you must... More

On our journey from LA to San Francisco via the PCH, we planned an overnight stop in Carmel at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club. Upon arriving and entering the reception we could tell this was a perfect setting for a hideaway retreat mixing the rustic setting of the mountains with the luxury amenities that were a plenty inside. We... More

We stayed at the Quail lodge for 3 days, no golf so please don't look for a golf review here. The room was big, comfortable and nicely appointed. We used the pool and gym while there. Both were well kept although a couple of the aerobic machines had display issues. Probably the worst aspect of the hotel is their free... More

This was, by far, the best place we stayed on our driving trip from Seattle to Orange County, CA. We had a HUGE room with everything we needed, lovely beds, and a perfect location for the dogs. Access to the outside from our patio, lots of places to walk them. On arrival, we were given a wonderful welcome bag for... More

Our room is very spacious and marked with a modern touch. The bathroom is also really sharp with both a bathtub and a large shower. The property, however, is miles away from town. Some may prefer this solitude, but it is a factor to consider. This is not a new resort by any standard, but they did a fine job... More

We had our annual mother daughter weekend getaway and stayed in the Fairway VIlla and what a treat it was! What we enjoyed most was the delicious breakfast in the morning, 9 hole putting green, great service, spacious rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds (even the couch pull out), and walking distance to great restaurants (Baja Cantina). Not to mention the... More

This is a beautiful facility with the best staff we've ever experienced in a hotel. They staff all smiled, helped with any question or request, always greeted us as we walked around the facility and made us feel at home. Amanda, who checked us in and out, is outstanding. The rooms are spacious with excellent beds and a very spacious... More
