Thank you for your kind comments. We are such a small inn that many of our guests (over 80 percent) are repeat visitors who end up having their favorite rooms. We look forward to welcoming you back and helping to show you all of the beauty of Carmel. More

We stayed in this hotel on our road trip down from Napa to Santa Barbara. We really liked it, I only didn't give it full points as it was slightly disappointing, and more expensive than, the Amazing guesthouse we stayed in, in Napa. On first impressions the hotel looks slightly like a motel/road lodge in that all the rooms are... More

It always seems hard to find a pet-friendly hotel that is also of good quality so that the pet owners do not have to slump it :-) I really love this inn for how luxurious the room feels and its great location to the beach and downtown Carmel. The bed was very comfy and the decor was pretty. Even the... More

The Coachman Inn was lovely, our room had a wonder fireplace, comfy beds, and was in a great location to walk to Ocean Ave and all the shops. A light continential breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning. Sherry and fresh cookies in the lobby in the evening. The hot tub and exercise area was really cute. Best... More

Recently remodeled, this is a nice place to stay if your goal is to be able to walk around Carmel without having to worry about parking. Easy to get to everything and staff was very helpful when we needed to purchase New Year's Eve tickets for a local celebration at another hotel. The popcorn in the in-room microwave and in-room... I had a great weekend staying at the Coachmans Inn. It was clean and they kept it clean for when we came back in the afternoon. The best part of the weekend was when I proposed to my girlfriend by using the services of Romantic Room Designs through Brian the Owner. He was quick to respond to all my emails... More

Just stayed in Coachman's Inn for 2 nights during Carmel stay of family Califormina Roadtrip. Pictures on web page and other sites do NOT do it justice, I even told the manager. The room (201) was very nicely appointed, two comfortable queens, a fireplace, a deep soaking tub, microwave (with POPCORN!!!), and even an espresso maker. Size was great for... More

We spent two nights at the Coachman's Inn and can't wait to return. Our room was lovely, the staff was friendly and the location was convenient to everything including shopping and the beach. It's a terrific value and we highly recommend it. The weather was unusually warm for Carmel but the lack of air conditioning was not a problem because... More

Memorial day weekend, my husband, our little dog and I headed to Carmel for the day (we live about 2 1/2 hours away). Thought we'd bring some over night supplies, in case we happen to find a "cheap room" (under $200) not far from Carmel, so we wouldn't have to drive home at the end of a long day. When... More

Family owned, freindly and professional service, locates in center of Carmel, walking to numerous shopping stores & restaurants. Daily morning light breakfast delivered to your room at your choice. Home made cookies after 5:00pm. Super clean room. Spotless and odorless bathroom. $140 for two queen beds with fire place in May is a super value, AAA rated.
