I was excited to see that Coachman's Inn was bought by Four Sisters. We've stayed at their properties before and were very pleased. Check-in was easy, we took our two dogs with us, so we took care of that paperwork and we were off to our rooms. Our friends were traveling with us, they were right down the hall from... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Coachman's Inn. We were so pleased to read that you have stayed with Four Sisters Inns in the past and enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres. We are excited to share that Coachman's Inn will soon be adding a breakfast room and new kitchen which will... More

This Inn has lots to offer--excellent locale within walking distance of shops and beach; beautiful, spacious room; and courteous, competent staff. We would definitely stay again. The two-for-one night offer made it an excellent value.

We weren't sure what to expect. We did get a third floor room (303) which was roomy and very stylish, new and well appointed. Some ambient noise but it is a motel. If you have issues with windows just close your blinds. Got a great price for one night in between Christmas and New Years without mandatory 2 and 3... More

I have been staying at the Coachman's Inn for many years. I love the location of just being able to park your car and walk everywhere since your are in the best location. Updated room and new beds is a plus and your dogs are welcome. Love the lower rooms behind the Jacuzzi/Sauna workout area and they installed a flat... More

If you want to avoid the glitz of a fancy hotel then Coachman's Inn is the place. It can be romantic and charming with comfortable rooms. It has been recently renovated and the beds and atmosphere will relax you in low key kind of way. The front desk is fantastic and always there for you if you have any requests.... More

Stayed one night as we visited Carmel by the Sea for shopping and wine. Older building, with ample parking (thankfully) in an interior courtyard. Don't be put off by the steep slope of the driveway by the lobby; there is a flat entrance on the opposite side. Smooth check-in. Room was more modern than I thought based on the external... More

We have stayed there many times over the past 20 years. The rooms are unique and spotless. There are thermostats to control the heat and there is no air conditioning, as someone said, but we enjoy opening the windows. There is a gas fireplace which turns on with a switch, which is wonderful if it's rainy and you come in... More

Nice motel; accessible rooms on the bottom floor. The bed & pillows were on the hard side; my spouse is gluten-free and besides orange juice, overly-sugared cereal, an orange & an apple, there was nothing she could eat in the advertised breakfast -- always a problem traveling. The room was overheated & there was no apparent way to adjust the... More

My wife and I recently spent a night at The Coachman Inn and had a very nice experience. The location is great, only a few blocks from Ocean Avenue. Check in was friendly and efficient. We were given a large room with a king size bed and fireplace. Everything in the room was spotless. A continental breakfast is served in... More
