We visited with our dog over 4th of July weekend. The inn is very conveniently located in the center of town, so sightseeing was a breeze. The room was clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed the whirlpool bathtub! We also appreciated the refrigerator and microwave, as keeping our dog food fresh was important! The... More

This is a lovely Inn with friendly staff, large, clean rooms with cozy decor and off-street parking. We hit a 2-day warm spell, they have no air-conditioning. Not to worry, with the windows open and the Inn-provided fan, it was cool and comfortable for sleeping. The location is a gem, right in the middle of everything: restaurants, shops, galleries and... This hotel is in a great location to walk to the restaurants & shops in Carmel. We had great service checking in and thought it was clean and quiet! Love the tables on the outside deck & the lemon water for guests! Breakfast snacks came in a little bucket in the morning...not a lot but a lil something to hold... More

This was a lovely overnight stay in Carmel. Efficient, friendly check-in, beautiful 2nd floor room ( although noise from floor above ). Large room with plenty of room fpr suitcases Walking distance to all the gorgeous Carmel stores and restaurants - this town is so picture-postcard perfect that it is almost too lovely... My friend felt it was a little... More

We were lucky to get a room as hadn't pre-booked. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Fresh home-made biscuits on arrival very tasty bonus. The breakfast provided to the room was very tasty and gave a good start to the day. Central location was very helpful for a peaceful walk through the main part of town. Would love... More

We found this Inn listed under a Trip Advisor search for Carmel B&B's. It is a motel, not a B&B. Breakfast is always the same, and is delivered to your room in a bucket. The rooms were reasonable, if not a little dated, and had no air conditioning. Cookies are prepared each afternoon at 5:00, but by then you're thinking... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our apologies - not sure why we are listed as a B&B as we are considered an "Inn" but we will look into this. Clients have told us they like that we are like a hotel, inn and B&B all rolled up into one property. As far as being a... More

On the last couple of days of our sons spring break vacation to San Diego we decided to make a stop in Carmel in our way back to Portland. We booked a $225 room at the Coachmans inn through Bridget with Rent Monterey. We booked the room two days before our stay over the phone and received a verbal confirmation,... More

We were a little surprised to read this review. We did indeed receive a call to cancel this reservation when it was inside of the cancellation policy. It was noted by our reservations clerk (Resort 2 Me - not "Rent Monterey" - who initially recommended us was closed when you had tried to make your reservation with them) that you... More

The hotel is in a great location, quiet and comfortable. The third floor rooms all have gas fireplaces and we enjoyed that. Cookies are served in the evening and a coffee maker is in the room. It needs a bit of an update on the carpet and furnishings but other wise our room was very nice and comfortable, bed was... More

Thank you for your kinds words. We are currently in the works for replacing some of the carpeting in the rooms and our owners take great pride in maintaining standards for furnishings. Our maintenance staff goes through the rooms to check for little dings and dents (most of our furniture consists of antiques). We hope to see you again soon.... More

Great Inn, right downtown, with large, nicely decorated rooms. Clean and quaint with a nice little breakfast delivered right to your room! Rooms are very bright and well lit. Our room had a fireplace which was a nice touch (although we had incredibly nice weather and didn't use it). Perfect location downtown, you can walk anywhere you need to go,... More

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay! We do have special mattresses but from what we have found in all of our travels, there is no one single mattress that is a good fit for everyone (we have received a lot of great feedback on ours but I like your suggestion about the pillows and having some different types... The staff was great, told us all we need to know about the Monterey Peninsula. The rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. It is centrally located so walking around was easy breezy! The bed was VERY big and comfortable. This will be my go to place in Carmel.

Thank you for staying with us. Our front office agents know A LOT about Carmel and Monterey County. We want everyone to really explore the area and enjoy it as much as possible. Please come back and see us again sometime soon. Karen Manager More
