As a couple who has stayed many places in Carmel, the Adobe Inn is tops. In fact, we've stayed there 6 times during the past 2 years and can confirm that the rooms are modernized, well maintained and probably the largest rooms in Carmel. The staff is very friendly and accomodating; when you need something you receive it immediately. In... More

We have been staying at the Adobe Inn in Carmel for at least 15 years and we love it! The rooms are large, the location is perfect - walking distance to town and to the beach, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Love the fireplace, the in-room internet access, the breakfast that is brought to the room, the underground... More

Nice boutique hotel in excellent location for Carmel by the Sea. Loved the underground parking and ability to walk everywhere. Promo was beautiful with a fireplace. Not much to the balcony and looked out over someone's back yard which unusual especially with young children playing there. Pool is very, very small but was heated. View of ocean was minimal but... Booked this thru Booking.com and had a lovely stay here. Underground parking is very convenient, The room (38 - oceanview) we had was lovely and the breakfast suffices (it will be brought to one's room). The kids loved the swimming pool. Location-wise it is great: beach is a 10-15minute downhill walk away, town-centre is 5 mins and the Carmel Mission... More

All our expectations were met while staying at the Adobe Inn. A great value if you prepay. The room was very spacious, charming and clean. The location is prefect only two blocks from the main drag to Ocean Avenue. The parking is great underground. The staff is wonderful from management to the grounds keepers. Enjoy your stay without any worries.

The Adobe Inn was a great place to stay while in Carmel. It is ideally located in walking distance to all the amazing restaurants and shops in Carmel as well as the beach. We received a warm welcome (with delicious cookies) from the very friendly and accommodating hotel staff. Our suite was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and... More

Lovely big room which gave us plenty of space for our things and ourselves! Balcony was also huge. Bathroom a little dated but it was clean. Breakfast was ok - nothing fancy but it was complimentary so can't complain. Lady on reception was very sweet as was the lady who delivered our breakfast. No complaints. Carmel itself is rather expensive... More

4 of us stayed in their most perfect Suite, easily accomodating all 4 gal pals May 2-4. Loved the fact that there are two gorgeous full bathrooms, making it easy to get ready for dinner at the same time. The fireplace brought warmth and that perfect ambiance to talk way into the night. Breakfast goodies were brought to our room,... More

We checked in to our hotel after being up for quite a few hours, taking a 6am flight from the east coast. We were able to check in early to the Adobe Inn, which has the cutest lobby in true Carmel style. We walked down the open air hallway to find our room, when we got inside the room was... More
