Love the location of this place! You're right on the main street of Carmel, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops! Keeping in mind that this is a motel, and things are a little dated and worn, this is an excellent way to stay in the heart of Carmel without paying a super high price.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I really must on this one. This place is NOT up to par in terms of Carmel standards and needs to change! We got very spoiled staying at the Comfort Inn next door, so when they were overbooked, they called over to this place and got us a room for one night. Of... More

My experience with this motel has been good. Keep in mind that it is a motel, not a fancy hotel or boutique hotel, it's like a traveler's motel. It has clean carpets, clean linens and clean bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and they have a continental breakfast in the morning, sometimes it's good and other times not so much, oatmeal... Although the site lists free parking as one of the hotel details, be aware that there may not be a spot for you in their parking lot. The receptionist didn't seemed alarmed by this and even said that they don't ticket the spaces at night. Just be sure to move it by 9:00. To where? The room is basic, somewhat... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, it is in the heart of Carmel, staff very friendly. The rooms are a bit tired looking, but the place is decently clean, the towels are spotless, we had to change a few of them but the staff were very accommodating. The internet was very good. Breakfast was a bit overwhelming, we had to... More

We thought this hotel was way over priced at $190 , the room smelt of sick and it was pretty shabby, we definitely wouldn't recommend., unfortunately we had no choice as we were exhausted. Positives the receptionist was helpful, bed comfy.

Nice little inn, just off the highway. Spent one night here on road trip from San Francisco to LA. No frills but perfectly adequate for a night. Inexpensive but included breakfast and free wifi. Just what we were looking for. Pleasant staff, clean. Only let down by our room being next to the maids quarters. They woke us up chattering.... More

Very basic hotel with an ideal location. Walking distance to shops in the center of Carmel, and even down to the beach! Driving distance to many other attractions. Clean place with decent service. Excellent choice for those who want to experience Carmel but can't afford the luxury hotels.

In a really good location for exploring carmel. Bed was very comfy and big. Bathroom a little dated but nothing to complain about. Good choice of continental breakfast and there was some hot selections too which were very nice.

My husband and I stayed here recently for one night. Both the room and bathroom were small, and hasn't been updated in a couple decades (plus there was a lot of noise on the property). The pluses are the great location, friendly staff, free Wifi, and a wonderful free continental breakfast (quiche, roasted potatoes along with the usual items).
