Really surprised by some of the Trip reviews. This was a very pleasant, very clean, very comfortable suite, for four, for $250. Perfectly located for Carmel central, price included wifi and breakfast - more than a suite at Caesar's Palace does - and we had a really great stay, here. Well worth a look.

The location and quietness of the hotel was great with easy access to shops and restaurants. The bathrooms were obviously recently remodeled with granite and were very nice. The shower was great with ample hot water. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. The room was small but clean. The decorations were charming although a bit worn and need of replacement(thread bare... Clean comfortable but reception dont make extra efforts. An extra pillow was a problem! They should forget the idea of what was optimistically termed. "breakfast". A coffee machine in the corridor would be better

Spent a couple of nights in Carmel this month with the family on summer holiday. Booked 2 nights in this average motel on Juniperro. I was attracted to the fact that they had a king suite with a separate living room with a day bed. The rooms were very average. Beds not particularly comfy, no chest or furniture to put... More

Although it looks like an older motel from the 50's or 60's, it is very well maintained, and probably extensively remodel. Our room was clean and newer looking with a fireplace, balcony with a partial ocean view, and an updated bathroom. The property is within walking distance (2 blocks) of most of the shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The beach... More

Arrived in Carmel late with no where to stay, we drove around for a while passing the Inn quite a bit. Being tired decided to give it a one night try. Ended up staying for 3 nights. Location was perfect for us loved the shops and street running down to the lovely beach. Hotel bed was crisp and clean everything... More

The room was clean, but a bit worn. The Inn is in an excellent location and although on a major intersection in town, was very quiet. Great price for the area. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but fine. We would stay here again for the price and location alone.

Just stayed here. The suite was a good size and cleanish. Minor grumble. Tea and coffe could be better quality with milk and not powder. Also provide spoons and not sticks. Breakfast, while there was sufficient, the presentation is really poor. Paper plates. Really! It is all about the feel good factor and we could not eat and get out... More

This motel was clean, with an an antique style of furniture that was surprisingly inviting and warm. We liked the little touches of having toffee candy in a covered dish that was replenished daily, the little mini fridge and microwave were an added nice touch. Bathroom was very clean, finished in marble, and they were well stocked with plenty of... More
