Hi everyone, i was recently back in Carmel and stayed again at the Carmel Inn and Suites. Just as my previous experience a few years back, the inn was a really great place to stay. The room i had was spotless, upstairs and very quiet. The rate was extremely reasonable for the area. The patron at reception was incredibly warm,... More

Hi We spent 1 night there. The room are big and confortable. The reception and servie are very helpful and supportive. It would have been great if we would have book long in advance and not coming during a car show! Carmel is a very nice small city. Very relaxing

When we were looking for somewhere to stay in Carmel most of the hotels were expensive, but I suppose that is what you expect. We decided to stay here and were not disappointed. We had a room on the first floor, the décor was a bit dated but the room and the bathroom were clean. The position was a couple... More

My son walked in the room and said " I feel uncomfortable here. It smells, the paint is peeling from walls & I will not walk on the creepy carpet". I explained it was in our budget. But for $130 a night during off-season and during the week?! The bed had sand on the comforter and not sure if new... More

Yes, it's over-priced, but it's Carmel. Yes, it's out-dated, but our room was clean. I booked this hotel because I was traveling with my two tween children and I could get a suite with a day bed and trundle in addition to a King bed. The sleeping arrangements worked out fine. The location was great, just a couple of blocks... More

This hotel is simply awful. The decor is really old, and needs a makeover. The bathroom Was recently remodeled cheaply. The pool was disgusting and dirty. All the outside chairs were dirty. This hotel needs a real scrubbing. The guy at the office was half asleep and hardly communicative This is a nasty place!!! Never recommend this hotel.

So admittedly I booked a room in Carmel very last minute and as I needed pet friendly I was pretty limited in my selections. Regardless, I found this hotel quite bad -- rooms were dark and didn't feel overly clean to me. I was there with another couple and we all felt the same and would not go back. On... More

All was comfortable and very clean. In terms of furniture - it is well maintained or new but of a rather old-fashioned style. TV worked perfectly fine while Wifi was useless.... frustratingly slow. Our room was to the back with zero view (well, a wall) but this meant it was very quiet. The location of the Inn is very good... More

We were booked into this hotel for one night to enjoy Carmel on our way up to SF. Having driven a good 8 hours that day we arrived at 9 pm at the hotel, with two kids (we were five in total), to find that they had given BOTH our rooms away to other people and could no longer accommodate... More

Really surprised by some of the Trip reviews. This was a very pleasant, very clean, very comfortable suite, for four, for $250. Perfectly located for Carmel central, price included wifi and breakfast - more than a suite at Caesar's Palace does - and we had a really great stay, here. Well worth a look.
