Casa de Carmel is a darling inn a few steps off the main drag in Carmel. A nice walk to the beach and everything else in town is right at your doorstep. Stayed there with our 2 dogs and just loved it! Close to the beach, restaurants, coffee houses.....very convenient! Very quiet at night even on the bottom floor! Made another reservation today to go again in September 2006. more

What a perfectly delightful place. It was advertised as a B&B, but was much better because the set up was like an old-fashioned motel. Excellent location in Carmel. Friendly manager. Room was very comfortable. Muffin, yogurt, juice and coffee in room. Wine and cheese every evening at sister inn (Vagabond House). $145 per night and well worth it. more
