In this "inn" you get a well-furnished and comfortable individual cottage, much bigger that most hotel rooms. I was in no. 21, near the back of the property, private and quiet with a small porch with table and chairs. The unit had a big bedroom/ sitting room and a substantial kitchen, well set up for a long stay. A tremendous... More

We checked into Ghost Tree unit with all amenities as mentioned minus the following:-(( 1. The heater emit some type of bad gas odor when it's switched on, sometimes it was unbearable. 2. The interior of unit were wearing out and old. 3. The Internet in the rooms sucks. There's no connection at all even though you thought it's already... More

I stayed at the Carmel Resort Inn a few years ago and really enjoyed my stay at the time. The room was really spacious with a microwave and fridge and while it wasn't top of the range, it was very good value for money. I booked both rooms through the same hotel reservations site and was under the impression that... More

The room was very large and clean with comfortable beds. There was a large flatscreen tv and fridge. Also a table to eat, write postcards or play games on. The bathroom was rather outdated but had a good shower. Breakfast was delivered between 8.15am and 8.30 am each day and consisted of huge muffins, fruit, yogurt, danish pastries and fruit... More

I was traveling with my dog, got a good midweek rate through Expedia and was happy enough with the room. The bed was very comfy, the water pressure good and the mini-fridge, microwave, WiFi and breakfast basket appreciated. The only problem was that, when I walked in, the room had that overly disinfected reek you sometimes encounter in cheap motels.... More

Okay, they take pets. That's nice. But our room had a swiped up dog poop never cleaned. The bed was comfortable but the décor needs lots of work. Carpets are very old. Bedding doesn't match the carpet. Bathrooms are fairly clean but again very old and tiny. The sink is in the bedroom area. Room was musty. Over booking.com I... More

We booked this as all our first choices were already booked, we did not realise we were visiting on the busiest weekend of the year! We rang to say we would be late and were advised we must arrive by 9pm as the office closed then, we had been delayed by an accident on the Freeway out of SFO so... More

I'd read reviews and was a little nervous. This rustic little resort complex tucked amid the pines is charming, peaceful, convenient and a fantastic value. Our cottage for 2 nights equaled our friend's room across town for 1 night. Spacious room, deck with table and chairs, very comfortable king bed loaded with cozy comforters, electric fireplace heater with "logs and... More

I went there with a friend for two nights and we chose it because of the price. It was one of the few that we could afford, and we really wanted to visit Carmel. The location is great, a 5 minutes drive away from the centre and 10-15 minutes from Monterrey. The facilities consist in several cabins (some with little... More

We only stayed here for one night during our California road trip, but it was a pleasant little place. The room had all modern facillities and was a good size, The bungalows/cabins are spaced out nicely and there is a parking space outside each one. Breakfast was nice and delivered to your door. The location is just on the edge... More
