Small rooms, and a B&B. So expect no frills. Decent rooms - we loved the place for the location really.. next to the main street in Carmel by the Sea - and walking from the beach. Close to coffee shops, restaurants. Great if you can walk up to everything with a 3 year old.

we stayed at svendsgaard;s inn for three nights recently and had a very relaxing stay,very comfortable accomodation with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in,continental breakfast delivered to your door between 7-30 and 8 am every morning. very nice area for walking with plenty of restaurents,galleries and shops.lovely beach a short stroll away.
