We stayed at the Lobos Lodge in early June for our one year anniversary (we're from NYC) and absolutely loved it. The location is amazing, staff very helpful and rooms clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

My fiance & I were visiting our family in San Francisco, CA with our children and had the oppoortunity to travel down Highway 1 to Carmel (on our own! What a treat!) We searched this site for recommendations and found that Lobus Lodge came up trumps. We booked via the hotel itself and the transaction was very swift. On arrival... More

We stayed on the 1st floor with a small patio area. Room was spacious, with king size bed, relaxing sofa, mini breakfast table, lounge charge, and a vanity table. Updated carpet and bathrooms with nice window treatment shutters. Nice toiletries, hairdryer, closet, separate walk-in style bathroom. Shower pressure excellent! The decor of the furniture is slightly outdated, but for the... More

Although we are local to the area, we had the opportunity to stay at the Lobos Lodge for several nights while we had some work done on our house. We drive by the hotel all the time and have never had much of an impression from the outside. We were very pleasantly surprised. Let me start with the positives, of... More

Just finished two night stay. We were very pleased. Stayed in Room 17, which had a small balcony. The location could not have been better. The service was excellent. Turn down in a reasonably priced place? Unheard of.....They do it. Nice breakfast delivered to your door with the newspaper. The muffin was homemade and very, very good. For the money,... More

We only stayed one night here because they were booked the other nights that we were in Carmel. It was much nicer then the Carmel Sands, but also 50 more in price (150/night). The room and bathroom were spacious. The toilet and shower are separate from the sink, mirror, and large countertop area. Our room was a king with a... More

Two adjoining rooms was perfect for a few days with the kids and grandkids. Close enough to the beach, close to walk the touristy streets of the town, close to restaurants (Village Corner and Cassanova). The rooms were big and clean. The sofas and tables added to the hominess. We had a picnic dinner around the coffee table one night... More

I was a bit worried despite the high TripAdvisor rating because this hotel had a room available on a few days notice and was much cheaper (at $125/night, $150 with all taxes and fees) than many other places in the area. But I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel location was phenomenal if you are even remotely mobile. My wife and... More

I stayed here for 2 days in March (Tuesday and Wednesday). Groundfloor room, huge really comfortable bed (the best of the 5 hotels I stayed in on this trip). Large room, with fire. Small outside space for sitting out/breakfast etc. Separate dressing room and bathroom hidden in what from the outside looks like a closet - both good size with... More

My wife and I stayed at Lobos Lodge for 2 nights last week and found it to be a great value. We booked the room directly with the hotel and got a rate of $130 or so. The room was clean and very spacious. It was well appointed, neither luxurious nor tacky. The front desk staff was friendly and very... More
