We stayed in room 17. Big spacious room with king bed and a fold out sleeper sofa. Had a view of the ocean from the balcony between the trees, but it was better than being in one of the rooms in the bottom of the hotel! Hotel was a downhill walk to the beach and and right on main street.... more

Stayed in May 2009 for one night, the room was quite big with a nice balcony and good fittings etc. Breakfast and newspaper which was included in the price was delivered to our door which was very nice. It had a very convenient location in the centre of the town on the main street down to the beach. Our short... more

We stayed here last year in April and gave a better review. Even though we stayed in the same room, it is not as good of a review. The mattress definitely needs to be updated along with all of the furniture. We still enjoyed the location close to Carmel beach and the price is affordable. Also, we left a comment... more

Unfortunately we only had one night here. The room was very nice, with a large sitting area and the bedroom somewhat separate. Very spacious accommodations. The Inn itself is an interesting arrangement of two story units with internal courtyards. If we get back I would request two things - a unit on the second floor (we could hear the upstairs... more

We stayed in two connecting rooms. Really spacious! We had balconies which looked onto Ocean Ave. Breakfast was delivered to our room, but they do not bring tea or coffee. You have to make it yourself in the room, so don't use up all your supplies!! I would have liked some milk instead of the powdered coffee creamer. more

Lobos Lodge is spacious (our largest room out of three hotels) and clean. We had a very comfortable king sized bed, fireplace, fridge, TV with DVD and VHS, balcony with a 'peek' of the ocean. It is located close to Carmel Beach and everything is within walking distance (restaurants, shops, beach). The staff was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was more... more

Booked after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Traveling with 2 other couples who also enjoyed the accomodations. Perfect location in Carmel. Parked our car and walked everywhere. Close to shops and restaurants. Comfortable suites with all amenities at an excellent price. Complimentary continental breakfast was also very good and served in your room. No complaints! Highly... more

This was our first visit to Carmel and we stayed 3 nights in a suite (#37). It was very good...spacious, kinq size bed, very private west facing balcony, and a decent bathroom with separate room for shower/toilet from the sink. It has an outstanding location on the west end of Ocean Avenue, with a short 4 blocks walk to the... more

We booked two nights to celebrate our anniversary. My husband was in an accident the day before we were to arrive, and he was hospitalized. I called to cancel the room, and was charged one full night's rate of $205 because it was less than 72 hours notice. I asked if I could have a credit for a future stay,... more

The Lobos Lodge has a great position in Carmel, which is a village we found very artificial and somewhat pretentious. I know that many people will find this cute and charming, but you have to know that it is basically a juxtaposition of art (mainly paintings) galleries and a few estate agents. Please be aware that Carmel in is general... more
