W hat a nice oasis. Fabulous patio, great food with option all evening of ordering from bar menu or dinner menu. Sometimes that dinner menu can be a little on the pricy side, so having an option is great. Piano player. First timer, but it looks like a lot of old friends meet and have a great time. Certainly a... More

This Hotel is a lovely corner in the Carmel area in California. When you arrive, you do start feeling calm, quiet, with no worries at all. And as long as the days pass by, that wonderful feeling increases 100% ! The old small houses where the guests stay transport you to the end of the 19th Century. All of them... More

How anyone can find fault with this place is beyond me, we were on a 15 night tour from Las Vegas to San Francisco via the pacific coast and our 2 nights at Mission Ranch were the absolute best. Our Meadowview triplex had the best view ever, room was spotless and so comfortable and the private balcony with rocking chairs... More

The Mission Ranch is my favorite dining establishment in Carmel. The staff is outstanding. The food is delicious. The view on the patio is Carmel casual, beautiful and scenic. When dining inside guests will enjoy a nostalgic trip into a dining experience rarely seen today. The food presentation is excellent and the servers are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Spending some... More

Upon arrival you already get into the "happy mood" because of the large trees, ocean views and down home comfort feeling. We always stay in the same room over looking the meadow, grazing sheep and the ocean. Great bed, bathroom for a large shower and excellent fireplace in the living area. The deck outside has a table and 2 large... More

My wife and I love staying at the Mission Ranch. It has beautiful grounds, views and is a charming place to visit or stay. There is plenty to do in the area so whether you stay a night or a week or more you will keep busy. We always have a great time on the patio for drinks and dining... More

Ever wondered what Dirty Harry's ranch is like? Or if the outlaw Josey Wales knows anything about fine dining? Short answers are amazing and yes. Slightly longer answers about one of the most beautiful places in the world to eat can be found here: http://edibleangel.com/2014/08/30/carmel-clint-and-an-unforgettable-mission/ If you're in Carmel for 24 hours or a lifetime, put this restaurant on your...
