We have stayed here twice, and loved it each time. We chose this location because it was dog friendly and we had a private patio (we brought our lab Boris both times). It is really a perfect little place if you have a pooch. It is in a slightly odd lcoation, kind of away from the main part of town,... more

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. We expected disaster because of the other comments posted, but wanted to take a chance and see for ourselves. We found that this small hotel was beyond our expectations. The staff were remarkably friendly, the b-fast was delicious, the room was clean and cozy. We had our own private patio with a wood fireplace. My... more

We rented a room for Friday night. Have stayed in Carmel about 30 times because of work but this is not the quiet, charming Carmel experience we expected. The inn is across from a youth center and a towing garage. Expect to hear noise from the tow truck which parks the towed cars next door and the music from the... more

We loved our stay at the Carmel Garden Court Inn. We stayed in the Fuscia Suite. It had a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We had fresh fruit and pastries. The staff is fantastic! We told them what kind of food we wanted and they made reservations for us. The... more

My husband and I booked the Patio Suite for our 10th Anniversary. We had a horrible plane flight, but when we arrived for our 2 day stay, we were greeted by a fantastic staff who were so friendly. They showed us to our room and we were amazed to find that we had a private patio all to ourselves. THe... more

Enjoyed our stay,we were in the pet friendly patio room with two queen beds. Loved the patio, even with the weather so cold, added extra space and privacy. The beds were very uncomfortable, no pillowtop, I guess we have become accustomed to a pillowtop. Made the first night very sleepless. We went to Target the next day and purchased a... more

I stayed at the Carmel Garden Court Inn December 30 and 31 with my sister and brother-in-law. We had two patio or garden rooms. The rooms were comfortable and charming. Our patios, complete with outdoor furniture, connected which made it very nice. The breakfast (hard boiled eggs, croissant, muffin, danish, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, orange juice) delivered to... more

I have stayed at the property for the AT&T previously but this years booking has been as disaster. I was left 3 seperate messages informing me of 3 seperate rate increases due to the AT&T. Apparently they forgot to drastically increase the rates for this weekend when they took my $300 deposit months ago. After much complaining they agreed to... more

Got a gift certificate for this place for our wedding. Stayed for a couple days for our "pre-honeymoon". Was terrible. The receptionist didn't even acknowledge us when we arrived. Her computer work was more important than our presence and she wasn't at all friendly. Our room was dated, had an early 80's feel, and the linens were rough. Our second... more

I thought our room was lovely. We had a small private courtyard which was wonderful for our dog. I enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening and reading . The plants, flowers, and fountain were beautiful. There were some problems though, the toilet stopped flushing, so my husband fixed it. The shower door would not stay closed, my husband... more
