We traveled with our Siberian Husky and had a great time at the Lincoln Green Inn. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I loved the decor in the living room, the roomy bedroom and the nice little kitchen. The inn provides a checklist each afternoon to pick your breakfast items for the next morning. Although you don't... More

We stayed in the Friar Tuck cottage. Everything about it was comfortable, relaxing and rejuvenating. Very well-maintained and "grromed", everything about it. This stay was with a teen daughter, so the separate bedroom and living-room with pull-out sofa was appreciated. The bonus was that this little cottage felt quite spacious inside with a nearly full-sized kitchen and very ample living... More

Great place to stay just 1.2 miles from Carmel town center. Great walking nearby along scenic trail an ~1.2 mile walk of CA coastline beauty. Carmel is a great place, great art shops, restaurants and boutique shops, no chains for the most part! Mission Ranch Inn is less than 1/4 mile away for a nice bar and a good restaurant.... More

Spent a long weekend at the Lincoln Green earlier this year, and it was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I were traveling to the Bay Area for work, and so we detoured in Carmel for the weekend with our toddler and my aunt for a mini-vacation. The location is walking distance to the beach, but it's best to drive into... More

I go to Carmel at least once a year, sometimes twice. There is nothing comparable to Lincoln Green's cottages. Location is good for a short walk to the beach and to the Mission Ranch Restaurant & piano bar. It's also close to Ocean Drive for shopping, art galleries and restaurants. The cottages are furnished so comfortably, with luxurious bedding; and... More

My husband took me to Carmel for a birthday weekend and we stayed for the first time At Lincoln Green Inn. At first they had said they were booked up, but then offered the little cottage that is the owner's place but was available that weekend. We said "yes"! after seeing the pictures in a "secret" place on their website... More

This 5 cottage enclave is situated just south of town, steps from the beach and a ten minute walk to the heart of Carmel (and a little uphill). Everything was perfect, a simple breakfast of your choice, wine and cheese in the afternoon, the softest linens and beds ever. These are truly picture perfect Carmel cottages, not something that looks... More

We stayed in the Little John cottage in February 2014. It was absolutely wonderful! The bed is so comfy, I'm trying to figure out how to duplicate it at home! The private patio and kitchen are so nice to have. Breakfast delivered was great, and I loved the scones. It is an absolutely beautiful, private, romantic location. Perfect. I highly... More

Last year we decided to splurge and stay at the Lincoln Green Inn in Carmel for our 20th anniversary even though it costs more than twice as much as our usual very nice motel lodging options in Pacific Grove, Monterey and Carmel. The cottage, Mail Marion, was so charming. The service was great, And the location simply cannot be beat... More

We visited this wonderful paradise again over Thanksgiving 2013. We stayed at LGI several years before and stayed in Friar Tuck and had one of the best vacation experiences ever (our girls especially loved the Inn's ambassador, Buddy the Cat). However, this time we contacted Betsy to find out whether we could have a very short wedding ceremony in the gardens...
