I stayed here with my Wife and friends for 4 nights during late October/early November. The Inn is a B&B and is located only a couple of blocks away from the excellent Carlsbad beach front (less than 5 mins walk), and about 4 blocks away (10 mins walk) from the main street where there are pleanty of bars and restaurants.... more

The Pelicon Cove Inn was wonderful and we had an amazing time. Stayed in the Coronado room and the bed was so cozy, we loved staying so close to the beach & downtown, and they even have parking for those crazy busy summer days!! The breakfast was lovely, the doggies so cute and just an incredibly relaxing weekend. Would definitely... more

This B&B rocks. I normally stay at the Best Western but they were full so I tried this place after reading all the great reviews. I can confirm that the place is as amazing as everyone says. We stayed only for one night but the owner let us use the beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, and on-site parking for the... more

Gina had found the Pelican Cove Inn researching the San Diego area. She has wanted to visit a B&B for some time, now was our chance. Reading the other reviews, it looked very nice. I'm happy to say that we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Laguna room, clean & nicely decorated, definitely with a woman's touch. Framed floral... more

Location, location, location! This gorgeous bed and breakfast is tucked away in a peaceful spot just far enough to escape traffic noise, yet still a-hop-and-a-skip to the beach, shopping, and fine dining! My boyfriend and I stayed in the spacious Pacific room which had a modern captain's decor of boat art. The step-up feather bed with feather comforter and pillows... more

Pelican Cove Inn is very nice with some very interesting rooms. Hosts were very pleasant, breakfast was excellent. We had a bit of a noisy neighbor with a loud TV, but things settled down early enough to sleep well. The location is a couple of blocks away from the water in a residential area, and it is a bit of... more

Pelican Cove is one of the best B&B's at which we have stayed in 28 years of travel. Owner Nancy prepared and served delicious hot breakfasts over the five days of our stay. She provided excellent travel advice and suggestions about local restaurants. The room (Balboa) was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The Inn's location was ideal for roaming up and... more

We had three nights at the the Pelican Cove Inn staying in the Carlsbad room with its magnificent Captain's bed. (It has to be seen to be believed). Having not stayed in a b&b before I was not sure if I would feel comfortable but we had a wonderful time. Every room has its own entrance so you are not... more

Perfect location for watching the sunset beachside. Nancy (the innkeeper) had lots of ideas about where to eat or where to go for the best sunset views while sipping a glass of wine. Very clean accomodations. Great breakfast. Friendly, comfortable, relaxing. Great getaway. more
