This is the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. Very modern and clean. Staff very friendly. Go to the Beach House on the beach at Escondidas. Beautiful drive down Hwy.1 to get there. Will be bringing my family back here.

The Hotel is directly across the street form Carlsbad A/P. Rates are just about right ($89 per night with free parking). Internet access is fast and wireless. The internet connectivity was the worse I've ever seen in a hotel. My phone was 100x faster without using the hotel internet. Speedtest.net numbers were 0.08Mbps download with a ping of 1360ms - these are really horrible numbers. Plain text pages were slow.
