I live in Northern California and coming to this resort felt like going to Hawaii minus the steep airfare. The resort has two beautiful hotels, one for adults and one for children. You can dine poolside on light salads and sandwiches. There is complimentary coffee in the morning and the lounge outside deck makes a lovely place for a glass... More

From the moment we pulled up to checking out was great. Once we checked in our room face court yard. You could see that a wedding was going out. It looked beautiful . We walked around went to the pool. Had some drinks. The the adult pool. It beautiful and has great views around. All the staff was quick to... More

I had a great stay over labor day weekend even though the hotel was super packed. Our waitress at breakfast said there were three weddings. That considered, the service was great: valet was fast, waiting staff at the bar and restaurant were fine, the only time there was any delay was when I called for room service and the receptionists... We only stayed one night, but enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and walk around the grounds and just enjoy the scenery. You will not make a mistake staying there..

When I drove up to the hotel I was initially nervous because the entrance was PACKED with families checking in and unloading. In addition, I was under the impression that this hotel was on the ocean because someone else had made my reservations for me and I must have misunderstood. I spoke with the Valet and he was SO accommodating.... More

We stayed here over the 4th of July and had a great time. The rooms were great. The views from the rooms are very nice. While the resort was crowed due to the 4th of July weekend, the staff consistently went out of their way to take care of guests. Our room over looked the pool which can be noisy... More

We stayed here for a wedding and really did have a great experience. The patio outside of our room was amazing and a great place to sit, admire the view and have a glass of vino. I would recommend requesting a sea view. The Italian restaurant on site is good, but not my favorite meal I had in Carlsbad. They... More

This was our 3rd stay on the property. One stay as Four Seasons and 2 since the Park Hyatt team took over. Hotel underwent a renovation (Fall 2013) since our last stay. The rooms have been redone as well as California Bistro. We used a Diamond Suite upgrade and were put in a Deluxe Park Suite. Room was spacious and... More

I was considering booking reservation to celebrate my mother's birthday. Really surprised to see almost an $80 increase difference in a double room over a king bed. Shouldn't the rate be comparable for two people? I'm a Gold Passport member and had asked the hotel's reservation representative if they would be so kind to wave the resort fee. No can... More

This was our first stay at Park Hyatt Aviara. We have been La Costa guests every year for at least 10 years. They happened to be booked with a large convention during this past week and I wanted to stay at the Hyatt Aviara, which is also in the same area. What a wonderful stay it was. We were not... More
