No frills, great place to crash for a night. Older, updated rooms are very clean. Microwave and refrigerator, very useful.

I brought a group of couples for a little getaway. We got a good price, clean room, and great service from Joe! We enjoyed the continental breakfast, the waffle machine worked great. I saw the bad reviews but this was our experience. Perhaps they've been correcting their previous mistakes. The manager always gave us a nice greeting whenever we passed...

The hotel was a distance from the heart of the town. There was a free shuttle but you are subject to its availability. The rooms are large but a little shabby. The balcony fit one table and one person. Every time a door slams any where in the building you hear it . The breakfast is equal to any other...

This hotel is not inexpensive but has a great location in Capitola Village, only a minute on foot from Capitola Beach. The rooms are smallish but very comfortable and the beds are great. Decor is plush and colorful and the noise level isn't too bad, even in spite of all the bars that party late into the night just across...

For $200 for one night, we expected a bit more quality. The outside was alright. When we drove up to our room, which was at the back, I looked upstairs to a second-floor room and said to my husband, "Look, the curtains are falling down in that room. Hope that's not ours." It was. The carpet was thread-bare in spots,...

My daughter and I stayed at The Capitola Inn just for one night. It was clean and had a fridge and microwave in the room. It wasn't at all fancy but it was clean inside and out. The King size bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was ok. The breakfast was your basic continental breakfast with fruit, bagels, cereal,...

I have never posted a review before, but couldn't resist with this experience....We'd reserved adjoining rooms for 2x families and needed 2x cribs for our babies... After flying from NYC just in time for a wedding rehearsal dinner, we arrived to find 1x crib in the room that must have been stored in a basement for 30 years -- covered...

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend in a couples sweet. I was a lil disappointed in the size of our jacuzzi tub, but it did the job. It was clean and spacious! And we got reservations that day in high season.

We, too, hesitated after reading other reviews, but we stayed anyway and are glad we did. Inside and out were well maintained, the room and bath were large and well kept, the staff very helpful, the continental breakfast one of the best, and, the Inn is within easy walking distance to a supermarket, drugstore, and a great little hiking path...
