The hotel is badly in need of some renovation on its exterior.The room we were given looked to have been given a makeover in the not too distant past. Comfortable but dont expect Hyatt standards even though the price is comparable to much higher quality hotel. Poor value. more

I was very pleased with my stay at the Capitola Inn. Since the last time I was there they have made great changes. The upgrades in the bathrooms (tile on floors and counter tops) was a great upgrade from the tired vinyl that was there before. Stayed for four days Thursday - Sunday. The service was great, very helpful. The grounds were kept, clean and tidy as well as the room. It had new carpets and bedding.
