We loved staying here! My husband and I travel a bit and we make our reservations online. I can tell you that you don't always get what you think you're gonna get till it's too late. But this hotel is very honest and delivers what it promises. We stayed 6 wonderful nights and enjoyed every minute. The view was beautiful... More

We had booked a reservation at the capistrano seaside inn, and it was not quite what we had imagined. But, it turns out that the two hotels are owned by the same gentleman. And, since we were not very happy(we were going to stay, what else to do?), he would send us to his other hotel. He said that it... More

Adversised as ocean front with balcony for $200 a night. It was actually overlooking Pacific Coast Highway, then the train tracks (close to an intersection, trains required to sound whistles), then a parking lot full of tailgaiters, then the beach. Not even beach access (walk up PCH about a quarter mile to the pedestrian overpass). Room was nothing great, but... More

At first everything looked great! We got what we wanted, a beach front view and a suite hotel that had several rooms, including a kitchenette . But then trains passed in front of our view every 30-60minutes blowing their horn since there is an ungated RR crossing less than a block down from the hotel. Okay, I can deal with... More

The suites at Capistrano Beach Resort are spacious & have great Views! I stayed here for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The best part was the ocean view from the balcony! They also have pretty big kitchenettes. The breakfast was good and they even have a bbq you can use in the courtyard. I would definately stay... More

This hotel has fairly spacious rooms. No, the balconies are not private but they do offer an amazing ocean view. We stayed here because we had an awful experience at the Capistrano Seaside Inn. The staff is extremely friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

My wife Lyn and I first visited the Capistrano Beach Resort in December 2003. We stayed for a week having spent the previous two weeks in Laguna Beach. Our stay was over the New Year holiday, and thanks to Chris who runs the hotel, his wife Alicia and the very friendly staff, we had the most wonderful week. It was... More

A frequent traveler to the West Coast from New York, I look forward to my visits to The Capistrano Beach Resort. The rooms are nice, the location is good, and the staff is terrific. If you enjoy staying where you can feel and be treated like 'friends and family' you will love this place. If you are looking for a... More

Everything was sold out in Orange County when we decided we had to get away for the weekend. But the Capistrano Beach Resort on Pacific Coast Highway had one suite left, for $239. I should have known better, but I booked it for my husband and me, our daughter and granddaughter. It was horrible. The only closet was within the... More
