My first trip to Japan..my first hand experience of an onsen and my first skiing experience..these were reasons enough for me to be content with my trip to Niseko..but then when I first entered the lobby of Green Leaf, I did understand one thing..i am in for an experience that would simply leave me overwhelmed.. Green Leaf is a great... More

my wife and i had to make a snowboarding trip to niseko for the world renown powder, and it surely didn't fail us! The snow kept coming down with small breaks of sun which allowed for amazing powder and some great photos. We booked through a Korean online travel agency and got a package deal with limo-bus transportation to and... More

I so so wanted to love this place. Totally looked forward to going, even roped together a whole bunch of other pple so that we made an 8 person ski group. Best part (for a while) was that it was Malaysian run i.e. I was doing my bit for the economy while skiing! How stupid I was... Only just saw... More

The hotel has a weird practice that it charges in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). For our reservation, they fixed Japanese Yen (JPY) against MYR first and charged that in MYR against your local currency on your credit card ! Since MYR is not freely exchangeable, we have no idea what we will end up paying ! If I had known this... More

Good hotel, renewed recently, clean, cozy, greatly located right next to ski resort, food is ok. Great value if you take the all-included package (bfast, dinner, ski pass, ski rental, return bus trip from the airport). I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. More

A dream come true...this is how I would describe "The Green Leaf hotel" just could not get enough of this place and was very sad to leave. This is about the hotel not the skiing as that was just out of this world:) Hotel staff all so friendly and nothing was a bother, The food was the best, rooms were... More

The location is great, there's a ski shop in the hotel and a ski lift nearby. This is a small-ish hotel which is good in that the 1 ski lift available is good enough for the occupants and is not too crowded. Right outside of the ski shop in the hotel is an area for beginner ski classes. They have... More

Location was convenient as the shuttle bus dropped us directly at hotel doorstep and not at welcome centre as with some other hotels. The Green Leaf is also affiliated with the Hilton Niseko close by, so all purchases made at the Hilton may be charged to our room. There is a free shuttle to Hilton as well as to Hirafu... More

Green leaf Niseko Village has a nice village-vibe to it. Everyone has a friendly smile and nod for you. It's also a great hotel to base yourself while skiing in Niseko. In the winter months, it has 2 main outlets, the Goshiki restaurant and their very cosy bar, Tomioka White. Goshiki is a buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner, while... More

I like the onsen particularly. The outdoor onsen was done up like an natural occuring onsen with a all-rock base surrounding by towering trees with falling snow crumbs as they do fall from time to time. Onsen operates from 1pm through the night to 9am next morning EVERY DAY. This is great. They also set up very nice ambience outdoor... More
