This was our second visit to Green Leaf. It is very expensive but if your main focus is on skiing then it is hard to beat. It is ski-in ski-out and there is a ski shop attached to the hotel. It doesn't get more convenient. Reasons to stay here above convenience: - Onsen is incredible. A real highlight. - restaurant... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on 20 March 2014. Check-in was smooth and fuss-free. We got a room on 5th floor facing Mount Yotei. The view is amazing. Breakfast at Goshiki restaurant was plentiful with western and japanese offerings. Side door from restaurant allow access to snow outing. Kids finished their breakfast in double quick time for the snow... More

The view of our room faced the slopes, and it was beautiful! The breakfast is very varied and well stocked, so we were all energized for the rest of the day when we go skiing. The slopes were fantastic. For beginners, there's a complimentary bus service to the Hilton where they conduct lessons. For people who have skiied once or... More

The view is gorgeous at the breakfast area. The skii areas are easily accessible with it just right behind the resort. There are also complimentary bus services going to the Grand Hirafu areas where the restaurants and shops are. It's definately a must go during winter!

This was our first time to Niseko. We booked The Green Leaf based on price for the standard of accommadation, and travelling as a couple for 6 nights this was really good value. Friends who had been recommended apartments in Hirafu Village, which seems to be a good option if there are at least 4 of you, but for us... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Leaf. The view from our room was breathtaking! We loved the room the big bed and fluffy doona were my favourite. Although the bathroom was small it was adequate. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Loved the ski in/ski out aspect of the hotel and the lockers were convenient... More

Staying in Niseko skiing, staying at another hotel but had heard good things about the Onsen at the Greenleaf Hotel. Indoor and outdoor hot onsens, sat in the outdoor onsen surrounded by trees and rocks covered in snow. I have been to lots of Onsens in Japan and this is one of the best.

Given the price we paid, the Green Leaf was very disappointing. It was a number of small things that added up to a negative experience. My bottom line is that green leaf bills itself as a classy, high-end establishment, when in reality it is not. Given the price we paid, it is a very poor value even taking into account... More

Location and views from the room of the resort slopes were fantastic. Room size was adequate. The breakfast buffet had great variety with all one needs to fuel up for a day on the slopes. Beers were pricey in the lobby bar and if you were planning to eat in house rather than in HIrafu or at the Crab Shack... More
