The hotel offers free shuttle to ski place and also Niseko JR station.Breakfast and dinner are excellent except breakfast time closed early at 09:30. Spa,onsen is also good but maintanence time is 09:00 to 11:00,quite annoyed if you want to spa at that time. When check out, accidentally left mobile phone in hotel, and we were on the way to Sapporo... Just went skiing in Niseko. This hotel is a nice one with a spacious and clean semi Japanese room with no unwanted odour, plus a nice onsen surely not the most extravagant one, but does the job well. Service is commendable, I lost a piece of luggage on the bus ride to hotel first night but they tried really hard... More

Didn't stay at the Hotel. Only used this onsen. Nothing at all special, didn't seem very clean and water didn't exactly have the "Onsen" smell. Both indoor pools are very small, and the outdoor pool is ridiculously small. Sauna wasn't as warm as normal saunas are. Outside of Hirafu, but priced at ¥800. Probably won't be back to this Onsen,... More

Hotel Kanronomori is about 15-20 mins tucked away from Hirafu & Niseko Station by car. It's ideal for people who desire tranquility and serenity of a retreat. The western-style twin room was very spacious but the interior was basic and a bit worn out. The television was just a 20" screen but it's ok since I was not there to... More

My husband and I stayed at Kanronomori over Christmas (2014). The place was completely surrounded by snow, so can't comment to much on the grounds other than you are definitely away from the resort area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Some English spoken, so plan on being flexible! The smoke-smell, which I had read about, was not noticeable... More

Hotel Kanronomori offers free Wi-Fi at the entire property and relaxing indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and free-use fitness centre. The ski centre is connected to the hotel so you can rent all your ski equipment requirements from there. JR Niseko Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. The rooms are temperature-controlled and has a a flat-screen satellite TV with an English-language... More

Wife and I travelled from Hirafu to enjoy a private onsen, as this hotel is one of the few that offer private onsen. 50 minutes was ¥4600. We did not stay at the hotel. We skipped the chance to dine in their redraurant - they could not change a set course menu to cater for vegetatians. We were very disappointed... More

Our stay at Hotel Kanronomori was amazing (12/2014). I really felt sad for not having stayed a few more days in there!!! We stayed in the Japanese Western With Dinner & Breakfast Room, the room was very comfortable and very clean, we got nice and fast check-in service from lobby and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on a ski holiday to complete our 10-day trip in Hokkaido. The lobby is nicely furnished with very welcoming staff despite difficulty in English. Room is outdated but very spacious. We took the half board package, breakfast was a good spread with Japanese and English dishes; dinner was 6-course meal with different menu every... More

Amazing place to stay. In the midst of winter, all one need is the comfort and warmth of accommodation and food. And Kanronomori outclass that easily, without the expense of tradition and culture. Housed in a complex, there are traditional tatami rooms , tatami + western beds, or totally western rooms. We stayed in the tatami + western beds. Absolutely... More
