We are a party of 4 trekkers who stayed there before and after our 2 days trek. Located approximately 20mins away from the Paro Airport, Metta was the third accommodation we had during our stay in Bhutan. The first day we arrive at Metta, we were greeted by the beautiful and serene surrounding, warm staff and nice big rooms with... More

The resort has excellent rooms, I would say it has one of the best pillows I ever slept on... the view, which is really breath taking. Moreover, the only women staff is amazing, really trying to do all the best for you, specially the food!

We tried their aromatherapy full body massage for one hour. The masseus was not very experienced. The massage was over priced at USD 40++. I wouldn't go for the massage again if I was asked to. The ginger tea that was served after was good though.

Dear Khatulistiwa, Thank you for another posting in the Tripadvisor column. Our Service Book - "at your service" in all rooms for the guests to read. There is a page particularly on Spa and the prices were stated on it, besides that our front desk girl mentioned to you in advance before the massage about the rate. We apologize that... More

We stayed for 3 days. We had dinner on the first night we were there. The food was good except the pad thai didn't taste like pad thai. The ginger was yummy, moist and we all took seconds. Breakfast was specially made for us as we missed food from home. We very much appreciated the fried mee hoon. The rooms... More

Stayed here for two nights, very comfortable, neat and clean. Food was surprisingly affordable considering the super taste. Staff is friendly and go out of the way to meet your needs. They provided us with umbrellas, which we used as walking sticks during our trek up to tigers nest. It was a real life savior.

First off....Sharine you are super and Tshering, thanks for all the run down of Bhutanese history. Great couple awesome endeavor! I would be honest with my opinion here. I was a bit upset with the house fly situation in almost all of Bhutan and Metta should definitely look into it (maybe put some fly flickers in the room or something... More

I have stayed at Metta thrice, and it has been great each time. The Asian fare is good, but the desserts, such as the ginger and orange cakes, are more than amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive, and have excellent memories to boot - they could remember us from two years back! Rooms are clean and cosy. Overall -... More

We had lunch there twice and i must admit it was the most sumptuous food i had in my stay in bhutan. The food was both rich in temptations and presentation and reasonably priced. And the owners were kind and gracious enough to offer us cookies and mango mousse on the house.

Visited Bhutan with my father last year. The resort has lovely rooms especially if you are placed behind the main hotel as the garden can get very dry and dead in the winter time, and the rooms at the back are way better. There is a lovely bon fire going every evening. we were lucky to meet the owner and... More
