We were getting really sick of the bland and tasteless food in Bhutan until we came to Metta!! What a Saviour!! Sharine the owner is warm and friendly. She offered us special Nasi Lemak which we enjoyed thoroughly. The food in this hotel is the BEST in all of Bhutan. They also provided fresh fruits, freshly baked cakes and cookies... More

we stayed here during our last 2 days in bhutan. the property is slightly out of city but it gave me a very rajasthani feeling. the rooms were beautifully decorated, the bathrooms were spacious, clean, well stocked with toiletries. the staff was courteous and going by the name of the place, we did indulge in hot stone bath (USD 24... Metta Resort was my last resort/stop, before I went home. And while I was not expecting five star quality, the first thing that hit me was that the room was dark and gloomy. The walls were painted a dark brown and the ceiling was low. Windows open up to brick walls or an open courtyard with fairy lights that are... More

The Metta ended up being the starting and ending point of our trip. The staff were friendly and the accommodations were good. The food was very good and they offered a variety of items...from yak meat dumplings to chilli cheese veggies.

Metta Resort was our last stop on our great trip to Bhutan. We received a very warm welcome! Our luggage was delivered straight to our spacious rooms, nicely decorated with buthanese art. Rooms are very well equipped with tea/coffee making sets and beautiful bathrobes made of traditional buthanese fabric (these can be purchased and we liked them so much we... More
