This beautiful resort is located just on the outskirts of Paro. The lobby is large with seating, and there is a wonderful bar and bright modern seating area beside the lobby with a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks. The restaurant serves buffet food and is pretty good. My guide was able to arrange some chilies and cheese for... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in room 207 from late Dec 2014 ~ early Jan 2015. It is basically a nice, modern resort complete with modern amenities including a karaoke lounge and spa service. However, the room we were assigned somewhat smelled foul as the floor drain in our bathroom connecting to the sewage pipe was merely covered by an... More

This property is located 20 minutes drive from the airport. We didn't choose this property. It was arranged by our certified tour guide from Bhutan. We love the property very much. There is no grand lobby. It just a simple, yet spacious room on top of the hill. The room comes with TV (little living room), the big king bed,... More

Large spacious and clean rooms, well heated and very comfortable (couch, WiFI, TV). The staff is very friendly, attentful and eage rto please you. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were quite good, slightly above Bhutanese average. Unfortunately we did not have time enough to enjoy the Spa. The resort is well outside Paro. Unluckily there is no accomodation for the... More

It was -10 deg and we were afraid of the night to be cold. However,we were surprised to have 3 heaters in the rooms, which are switched on by the staff even before we returned. Very comfortable and spacious room, with all the necessary facilities like hair dryer, heater in shower, carpets, electric kettle. It would be better if room service could... More

The rooms at Metta Resort are spread over a series of small cottages with the reception placed in the middle. The rooms were nice sized and clean. The only thing was, the walls were very thin; so you could hear every word from the next room. Luckily we had neighbours who were not very loud so it did not bother... More

My wife and I decided to go with Metta because it was part of the Drukasia package and more so because we thought we just needed a decent meal with a warm bed and didn't feel like we wanted to pay twice more for an ostentatious hotel that some famous HK actor and actress got married in (no names here).... Our group of 12 stayed 4 nights and were impressed by their attentive staffs with smiling face. Asian food served in the restaurant was most appetising for us after having spent 8 days earlier tasting Bhutanese fare. The hotel owner, husband and wife team were hands on, always there to accommodate our special requests.

As a tourist you look for a place where the staff is courteous, exhibits all traits of hospitality, reasonably priced , well located, hygienic, makes you feel comfortable and all this is present here in excess in METTA RESORTS AND SPA. The owner, TOBGAY, is a top gentleman and he knows how to take care of his guests perfectly. He... More
