The beauty of Paro saved us from being indoors. Its a below average hotel with only 1 person who cooks cleans and manages. Service is generally slow. After we complained, we managed to get things on time.

Very modest in terms of amenities and services. Things can get delayed a bit which has the potential to throw plans in a bit of a disarray. Staff is helpful and warm However services and their promptness should be improved

Located close to the main road and not very far away from a refreshing river, the hotel just about 2 KMs short of Paro Town, seemed to us a natural choice for stay. More so as we reached there in the evening when the weather had just begun to turn nasty. Once inside, the staff took about 15 - 20... More

If you have the money you can go to the most expensive place in Paro, Bhutan, but if you are looking for a real paradise look nowhere else. The rooms of Pegyel are basic but heavenly. When you wake up in the morning, you open your eyes to a paradise!! Every room has a breathtaking view of the Paro valley.... More

Situated on the outskirts of the small township of Paro by the river is Hotel Pegyel. A small budget hotel with renovated rooms, Pegyel gives you a homely feel. Though severely short staffed, the hotel does score in the hospitality department. Its situated just 2kms from the Paro Airport. Since am not very fond of bhutanese cuisines, I played it... More

for a site engineer working whole day and only utilising the Hotel for plonking down -within a reasonable budget ,Pegyel Hotel ,located down Paro river (Pho chu or Paro chu- as it is called) is a good choice. However the real delight i discovered in the Hotel : is conversations with the owner, Mr.Dasho Pem Tshering -who i can mildly... More

a group of us spent a few days at the hotel pegyel in paro, bhutan. had seen it on the net before booking and was a bit disappointed to see a dull and dreary room. the room is adequately sized , but the dull and dark painted walls adds to the dreariness of the place. althought the staff was fairly...
