One night stay at the end of a Bhutan trip (17/18 Oct). Nice welcome and an even nice and impressive lobby. However visiting the room (703) brought me back into reality. On a first glance everything fine, spacious room, light-coloured furniture (pine?). Missing: a table lamp or another lamp close to the bed to avoid full room lighting. Bathroom. Same... More

We had a lovely stay here. Room was huge. Fantastic views. Enjoyed the spa. The food was good and very good for Bhutan. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The only bad point were the bar could do with a better selection and the road leading up to the hotel needs tarmacking.

Hotel is located away from Paro in a quiet and peaceful area. Room was spacious, well appointed and tastefully done up. Love the tranquility with the clouds and shroud around the rooms and surrounding mountains. View from the room was amazing. Free WIFI was available but network was not accessible in the room, but I wasn't bothered by that. Stayed... More

While our driver drove us to the hotel through winding, narrow, broken roads and almost to nowhere we were little apprehensive where we would land up at. But finally we were in a place which made us felt leaving in a different world, in total isolation in nature, far far away from the hassles and bustles all throughout our 3... More

A beautiful hotel to return to every day after sightseeing and experiencing the fascinating environment of Paro. The well positioned rooms, in clusters of four give a stunning view onto the surrounding mountains - Tiger's Nest is clearly visible and beckons to be to be visited. The extensive wood features inside and huge window fronts allow the nature to be... More

This hotel was like a breathe of fresh air, especially after a longgg drive around the mountain road. The room was spacious and nicely designed. I really liked the wooden floor and layout. The mattress were super comfortable and so are the pillows. What I personally liked most is the "bathrobe" provided. These are the tiny details that matters in... More

This Hotel sits alone, abt 10min drive from Paro - in a nice quiet and secluded area. The rooms are very pleasant, quite good sized in fact. The toilet floors heated - which I loved because the 2 days rained throughout, and things dried out easily over night. The only thing is that they don't have a study desk in... More

if you love soft pillows, this hotel has the softest pillows! we simply had such delicious sleep on the comfortable beds and super soft pillows. too bad they aren't for sale. the room is spacious and pleasantly designed with gorgeous views to the scenic surrounding. the only drawback is the many heavy curtains which we had to pull hard to... Nak-sel was indeed a very good choice for us. Me and my wife went there on a very short 3 day trip right after our wedding, wasn’t a full fledge honeymoon though. Staff was well spoke, well behaved and warm. Very Bhutanese, if I may say so. Hotel and the restaurant was generally quiet, clean and well maintained. We had... More
