Undoubtedly one of the best place to stay in Paro and the rates are not too high. For 1200 per night we got good room, hot water 24 hrs, heater, TV, coffee machine etc.. The owners are good people and do take good care of you. Its just 2 mins walking to all the necessary shops... Also as they have... More

This hotel disappointed us. We stayed for first two nights in our 10 days trip in Bhutan & we had a very bad stay in this hotel. The only positive side was the food served in the restaurant which was quite decent. The stay was further affected by non stop barking of stray dogs throughout the night.

We reached Paro quite late at around 9pm and being winters we were worried about getting an accomodation. But since i had been here before, i suggested to my friends to stay at the same place again. We checked into the Suite and oh boy it was big and clean. The food is just amazing although we were quite late... More

I have been wanting to write about this hotel for a while, as it had left a very good memory of hospitable Bhutan. The owners, both husband and wife made our stay very comfortable. Its a hotel with very basic amenities. However, the lady got her personal hair dryer for me when I needed one. They put an extra heater in... More

Arrived at this small guest house in the town centre with several car scrap dealers nearby. It has a quaint local wood carving frontage but inside is grubby without being dirty. Showed to our room which was very basic but also had large patches of damp and a bathroom with waste pipes not connected. The owner was very friendly and... More

We spent three nights at Sonam Trophel Hotel in mid October 2014. One night was in a suite room and two were in a Deluxe double room. The Hotel Manager Mr Pradhan and his wife run the place like their own home and thus there is an abundance of relaxedness, peace and family belongingness in the ambience, combined with prompt... We went in off season and got a very good deal. The hotel is located at a very good location near to market and airport. The rooms were clean and the owner is a gentleman. The big USP of the place is the Indian cook who makes really delicious food. The only negative thing that we could think of was... More

Its a good place to stay, rooms are not upto the mark of 3 star as they claim, but reasonably good, located walking distance from main market, they have their own resturant with tasty indian food, staff is cooperative. The only thing that disturb is disco club located very near to hotel that operates from 9pm to 12pm.
